Hello, today I am going to be doing a guide and difficulty analysis on my favorite Mega Man video game of all time. Today I am going to be offering a guide of Mega Man 7. I hope this guide helps you play this great game. I will also be using a scale of 1-10 to rate the stages and robot masters: 
1-2 Easy 
3 Slightly difficult 
4-5 Moderate difficulty 
6-7 difficult 
8-10 Very difficult 

Robot Master Order: I use this order in dealing with the robot masters. 
Freeze Man
Burst Man
Cloud Man
Junk Man
Turbo Man
Spring Man
Slash Man 
Shade Man 

So, lets get started with the walk through. 

Intro Stage (difficulty 1/10)
The intro stage is pretty simple. The first part is a cut scene. Roll and Auto (he runs the store Mega Man can use) are talking to Mega Man. Mega Man tells them how Wily has escaped and on the loose. Mega Man comes to Dr. Light who is watching Wily escape. After that you will get control of Mega Man. The only enemy here is a tank enemy. The next enemy is the boss its name is called Mad Grinder. Mad Grinder just has two attacks he will throw his saw on his head as a weapon. If he jumps and your on the ground he can stun you. A, few buster shots takes him down with no problem. Then you will meet Bass. Bass fires at your level so you can manipulate him into doing that. If you score enough hits on Bass he states his business and leaves. Bass tells Mega Man that he and his dog Treble have been trying to stop Dr. Wily ,but since Mega Man is good, he does not need there help. Difficulty Analysis (1/10) yeah this stage is pretty much easy. The only threat here is Mad Grinder and he goes down in a hurry. 

You can buy items from the store in this game just hit select and you will be taken to the store. The currency in this game is bolts that enemies drop. 

Freeze Man Stage (difficulty 7/10)
Freeze Man's stage is an ice stage so the stage is slippery. If you start to slide, jump to stop the sliding. The first enemy is just a wall walker enemy it goes down quick. Next, you will see a Polar Bear (there are 3 in this stage). This polar bear will throw ice at you, but is not too bad. The bear goes down with a few buster shots, if he throws ice at you just jump out of the way. Next, climb the ladders and fight another polar bear. After, defeating the second polar bear, you will need to take out the shield attackers. Climb up the ladder and deal with that shield attacker. Now, the next room has an interesting gimmick. You will notice the enemies on the ceilings that drop ice pegs down. Do not shoot them accept for one as you can stand on their pegs they drop. Also the floor will crumble if you step on it so remember that. Eventually, you will need the ice enemies from the ceiling to drop a peg down on spikes. After they drop their pegs, jump and use it to cross the spikes. The next one  you want it to drop its ice peg and then shoot it to clear the ceiling. You, will then notice a ladder leading to the top room.  After taking out the shield attackers use Rush Coil to get up to the ladder and climb. What, you want to do here is get Rush to land on the first ice platform. Once you get Rush on the platform use him to grab the letter H. Head back down and take the downward route. Head further down and take out the Sniper Joe with a charged shot. You will notice there are an upper branch and a lower branch. Take the upper branch to get a surprise. Do not try to jump over the pits use the Rush Coil. Eventually, you will see the Rush Search adapter pick that up and now Rush can be used to search for items. Head down the gap (make sure you land on the floor and not the pit), shoot the floor enemy to stun it and jump to the next area. Now, it is time for the final polar bear. This one not only throws ice but it can cause icicles to fall down on you. After defeating the bear head right to get a free energy tank. Then, use Rush Coil to climb the ladder. The next room has three sleds that throw bombs at you. Use a charged shot and avoid the bombs. You can try out Rush Search a few steps from the gate. Place Rush Search and watch rush dig up the Exit Unit, it will allow you to exit stages you have already visited. Freeze Man (difficulty 10/10) Be glad this stage gave you a free energy tank, because its time for a hard battle. Freeze Man has so many attacks to hit you with. He can throw ice at you, freeze you on the floor, cause ice to fall down on you, and he is very quick. The best thing to do here is get in shots when you can, charge shots do more damage, and when if needed use the energy tank. The weapon you get after winning this fight is the Freeze Cracker.  Also when you fight Freeze Man again in the Wily Stage do not hit him with the Freeze Cracker. All he does is just stare at you and then he taunts you. Difficulty Analysis this stage is a hard stage. The Ice and pits is what makes it hard. It, can be so easy to slide and fall into a pit. Also the jumps are tricky. Freeze Man is a bigger problem because he has so many attacks. 

Burst Man (difficulty 5/10)
Time for the mandatory water stage, just about every Mega Man game has one. The first enemy you will meet is a tank enemy, just take it out. Now, for what the stage is known for and that is bombs. Step on a bomb platform and the timer starts. If the timer reaches zero the bomb platform will explode. Jump on the bomb platform, then jump off, and take out the tank enemy. Head downward and get a free energy tank, then push against the bomb to clear it. Eventually, you will be dumped into a pool. Remember water physics allow you to jump higher. You, will notice floating bombs in the water. I find it is best to shoot them from a distance, because their explosion field is huge. Also, take out the robot fish, they will swim toward you. After the first, room just head down into more water. The next room you have floating bombs, fish, Mets, and of course death spikes. Now, its time for the mini boss, which is a giant crab. The Crab will fire three fireballs at you, if you jump after the second one the crab will fire upward and miss you. Sometimes the crab will rocket toward you, if this happens slide under him. For an easy win just spam the Crab with buster shots for a quick win. You, will then start to float up. Here, you want to avoid the floating bombs and the death spikes. Now the this stages second gimmick. The water will start moving up and down. Before proceeding make sure the water has risen or else you will fall on death spikes. After, all that head up the ladder and jump on the disappearing blocks. You, will also need to jump on the disappearing blocks to get across the floor with spikes. Head down and take out the frog robots. Then, it is back into the pool. The final pool room is straight forward, just let the rising water carry you safely. Be sure to jump up and get the letter R. Next, climb up the ladder take out the wall walker, that is guarding the gate. Burst Man (difficulty 4/10) okay Burst man likes to fire bubble bombs at you in hopes of trapping you. If you get trapped quickly tap the slide button or else it is a trip to the spikes on the ceiling. To defeat Burst Man hit him with Freeze Cracker and dodge. The weapon you get is Danger Wrap. Difficulty Analysis this stage is moderate difficult because of the water physics and spikes as well as the bombs. Burst Man his main problem is he can send you into the death spikes. 

Cloud Man (difficulty 6/10)
Now for the air stage of the group. The first room has a lot going on in it. First of all, birds will try to dive at you, just shoot the lead bird and the rest will fly over you. Second, the pits have up and down enemies moving up and down from the pits, so watch out for that when you jump. Next, you will see a strange floating robot shoot it and it starts to rain. Climb the next ladder and hit the next floating robot with Freeze Cracker. The weather will start snowing that will be useful for later on in this stage. After, shooting the floating robot just deal with birds and jump on the platforms to go up. For the next room you want to shoot the flying robots and land on the fan platforms. Remember how when you shot the second floating robot it made it snow. You will notice the platforms are now frozen and they can disappear. Yes, if you did not shoot the second robot with Freeze Cracker these blocks would appear and reappear. The enemy placement in this room is bad. You have flying enemies and birds that will drop eggs, with mini birds in them. You, will also notice a ladder leading upwards, climb that ladder and head left to get your U. After collecting the letter U just head back down then climb up the ladder. Take out the Sniper Joe and take the left ladder. Take out the two tank weapons, use Rush Coil and climb the ladder to get some advice form Proto Man. Head back down and continue. Now, the next section some players like to use to get bolts. A bird will come and drop the eggs, shoot the mini birds to get bolts and head back to the left to repeat. The next room just has birds and fan enemies. The Fan enemies will try to blow you off the platforms, so take them out quickly. Take out the bird eggs and its onto towards the gate. Cloud Man (4/10) Cloud Man can be hard or moderate depending on you fight him. If you do not use his weakness jump his lightening bolts. When he tries to blow you off with his wind keep dashing to avoid falling into the pit. If you fight him with his weakness you will still have to dodge lightening bolts but you can lock him into a pattern. Hit him with Danger Wrap for a quick victory. The Weapon you get is Thunder Bolt. Difficulty Analysis Okay this stage can be tricky. This stage has lots of jumps and airborne  enemies to deal with. It is so easy to get knocked into the pit either by enemies or by panic. Cloud Man can be tricky due to his lightening bolts and the wind he creates. 

Junk Man Stage (difficulty 5/10)
The first enemy you will meet is a flying enemy that drops bombs and shoots at you. A charged shot takes it out. After, that you will meet Mets, and roaches. The roaches have a nest that can produce a lot of them, so be sure to take out the roach nests as well. After a few roach nests you will be taken on an elevator. The only real threat here is Mets so just shoot them as they are coming down. The next room has roaches and lava in it (the lava is instant death). It should be noted that you can freeze the lava with Freeze Cracker, In fact, if you hit the lava fall it opens a secret path, that you will need to revisit to get a special item. Take the upper path and climb the ladder. You will notice cylinders attached to chains on them. Shoot the machine with the Thunder Bolt to power it up. The cylinders can be ridden on up to the top, but be careful because you can be crushed to death. Ride the cylinder up to the ladder, climb the ladder, and use Rush Coil for another ladder. Climb that ladder and you can get the Rush Jet ability. Now, you can use Rush as a jet to get across pits. Head up the next ladder and you will see junk piles. Do not get into the junk piles because a junk snake is waiting to bite you. Also you can power the magnet machines but I do not recommend it, because you can be dropped into the pits. After, the last junk pit you will notice fan platforms. If a machine falls on a platform it will shoot on you. I prefer to use the Rush jet to cross this section. Once your across the pits head down the ladder take out a cannon enemy guarding the Gate. Junk Man (difficulty 2/10) after, a moderate stage you would think the robot master would be hard? In this case Junk man is not hard at all. All he does is jump around throwing junk at you. He is slow and leaves himself open for attacks. Thunder Bolt takes this guy out very quick. The weapon you get is Junk Shield. Now after you beat this stage you want to head back to the lave room. Hit the lava fall with Freeze Cracker and it opens a secrete path. Head down and shoot another lava fall that is guarding the S plate. Once you collect the S plate you should have all the letters that spell Rush. Now Mega Man can fuse with Rush he can glide and fire his fist. Once, you get enough bolts you can upgrade the fists by buying a power up from the store. Difficulty analysis The stage is a bigger problem than the robot master. The roaches can be annoying and if you get a lot on the screen; they will swarm you. Also the lava paths to cross can be hard as well as the pits. Junk Man is very easy to beat even without  his weakness. 

Robot Museum (difficulty 1/10)
After, Mega Man defeats the first four robot masters he heads back for home. However, Dr. Light shows him how Wily is attacking the  Robot Museum. Mega Man gets there only to find Dr. Wily is stealing a Guts Man model. Wily leaves and a strange boss drops from the ceiling. This boss is silly the weak point is its head. Shoot the head and the head flies off. The best weapons to use are Thunder Bolt or Danger Wrap either one works well. Difficulty Analysis yeah there isn't much to stay about this stage the big and round enemy is not hardly even a threat. All you have to do is shoot the head and dodge under his jumps. 

After the Robot Museum Wily releases another group of robots onto the city. So now you have 4 new bosses. You can also visit the previous stages as well. 

Turbo Man Stage (difficulty 8/10)
 Okay now for an action pact stage. The first robot is a Joe driving a bulldozer. Thunder Bolt, is the weapon to use here as it takes the bulldozer out quickly (shoot at the Joe not the bulldozer). Another weapon that works well is the Noise Crusher weapon. After, taking out the Joe enemy you will meet piston and cone like enemies. These are easy to take out with Danger Wrap. Climb up the ladder and take out the Sniper Joe then head up the next ladder. The next room can be a pain. The tires on the ceiling will bounce you and then you have the cone enemies to deal with. Next, you will notice death spikes at the bottom after a tire. Do not fall down into the tire before the spikes it just takes you to another Joe driving a bulldozer, and then you have to start over again. What, you want to do is use Rush Jet to get across the spikes and avoid the trap door. After, using Rush Jet, you will see an enemy that throws tires at you. Just avoid the tires and head upwards. Climb the ladder avoid the tires and right at the end of the ladder jump to the right. You will enter a room with Proto Man in it to give you some more advice. Head back toward the ladder and climb up. Just, when you think the stage could not get any harder. The next room has engines that shoot fire out. There are two ways to get past this room. First, you can use the Freeze Cracker to freeze the fire. Second, you can take a hit and do hit and dash quickly to the shaft. Fall down the shaft and be prepared to slide as fire beams will be coming at you. The fire beams are instant death if you are quick you can pick up an energy tank. If, you survived the fire beams you will be dumped on the back of a truck. The truck will shoot missiles at you to take it out hits its face with thunder bolt. After, defeating the truck you will have piston enemies to deal with again, use Danger Wrap like you did before to head toward the gate. Turbo Man (difficulty 8/10) Turbo Man is a pain. Whatever you do not hit him with the Thunder Bolt it only helps him. He, will throw fire at you that requires creative ways to dodge. The fire can also climb the wall and drop back down requiring you do dodge the fire twice. In addition, he will morph into a race car and try to run over you. I find it best to dodge then fire whenever you can. If you are low on health use the energy tank you picked up. His weakness is Noise Crusher. The weapon you get from this fight is Scorch Wheel. Difficulty Analysis ugh, this can be a painful stage. There are lots of enemies and death traps in this stage. Then there is Turbo Man himself. Turbo Man can hit you with fire as well as run over you. 

Spring Man Stage (2/10)
Okay, now for a bouncy stage, no pun intended. The main gimmick here is springs; the springs can be used to bounce higher. To start this stage off there is a bolt on top if you want to get it. Head down the shaft and meet a coil enemy. He is pretty simple just take it out as well as the cannon enemies. The next part of the room has the same enemies accept they add a wall crawler to the mix. Head down the shaft and instead of spikes they are springs, that will bounce you around. The next room after falling down just has springs and a slinky type enemy in it. The slinky enemy can be taken out with Junk Shield. The next room just has floor enemies and death spikes so just avoid them and proceed. After climbing a few ladders you will notice boxes that have arrows on them. After, the arrows flash a boxing glove comes out. Head up and you will notice a big block is blocking the way. The boxes can change direction by jumping on them. Let, the boxing glove take out the big block. There is a big bolt on the other side with death spikes guarding the ceiling. You can use the Rush Coil to get to the bolt then use Rush Jet to fly across. If you go up another path you can go to another room that has an energy tank in it. Fall back down to the main part of the room and all that is needed to jump on platforms to get to the ladder. Climb up the ladder on the far right and take out the Sniper Joe. Now, you can head for the gate. Spring Man (difficulty 1/10) Spring Man is very easy to beat without his weakness. He just jumps tries to punch you, this attack is very avoidable. Another attack is he shoots springs at you. His weakness is the Slash Claw, but just charged buster shots will do just fine. You will get Wild Coil from this battle. Difficulty Analysis okay, this stage is easy really the only threat is the death spikes and the boxing gloves. Spring man is so easy that he can be beat quickly without his weakness. 

Slash Man Stage (7/10) 
Okay time for another painful stage. The first enemy you meet is a dinosaur  that shoots spikes at you. In addition, you also have the birds trying to swarm you as well as falling logs in waterfalls to get across. After all of that climb the ladder. The floor enemies can be taken out with Danger Wrap. Now you have death spikes so how do you get across. You, will need to hitch a ride on the dinosaur that is sleeping. The dinosaur will take you across the spikes, but also shoot the air borne enemies down. As the dinosaur falls down jump onto the next dinosaur and repeat. There is an energy tank to get but it is risky to get it as it requires a lot of careful maneuvering to get. Climb the ladder and take out Sniper Joe to climb another ladder.  Now, for a fast paced battle you see a lot of spikes with platforms quickly go to the right and do not look back. A T-Rex is going to be chasing you. Eventually, you will have to fight the T-Rex, he will try to breathe fire on you. To take him out use the Thunder Bolt weapon and aim for the face. The next area is a forests with hornets in the trees, and frog enemies at the bottom. If you use the Scorch Wheel on the trees it burns the hornets. The Scorch Wheel can also reveal a secret ladder. Climb that ladder fire a charged shot to set Beat free. Beat, is different in this game than others instead of being an attacker, he will pull Mega Man out of a pit as long as he has a whistle. After, that you will see eggs with small dinosaurs hatching. I find it best to use Junk Shield to take them out and head toward the gate. Slash Man (difficulty 10/10) okay, this guy has two weaknesses Scorch Wheel or Freeze Cracker. Freeze Cracker, is easier to hit him with so use that. Slash Man will spam you with attacks. He can nail you with his claw and throw tar down on you from the ceiling. When he is down hit him with his two weaknesses. As I stated Freeze Cracker is the better one to use. However even with is weakness he is a pain to dodge. The weapon you win is Slash Claw. Difficulty Analysis this stage was hard. You, have a lot of enemies and death traps in this stage. They are large enemies to deal with, waterfalls, and death spikes. Then there is slash man himself. Slash Man will spam you with his attacks so be prepared to use an energy tank. 

Shade Man Stage (difficulty 6/10)
Now, its time for a haunted house, that is right strange things will happen in this castle. Nah only kidding but this stage has a vampire theme, which makes sense because Shade Man is a vampire bot. The first room in hit has two enemies. The first enemy is a bird that taunts you by mooning you as well as firing bullets. Just take the bird out. The second, enemy is zombies. The zombies can be numerous but they will die on their own. Still it is best to take out the zombies. The next room has knight armors in it. However, every other knight armor has a helmet enemy. The helmet enemies will just throw saw blades at you, but they are not hard to take out. The next few ladders just have a few rooms with the taunting birds in them. Now for a tricky part the next room has bats (they are not the problem) and pressers. The pressers if they crush you are instant death I think. Also after they hit the ground you can use them as a platform, but be sure to jump or you will be crushed against the ceiling. Now you will have to fight the mini boss a giant Pumpkin. If you just shoot the eyes it will crash into the wall. All that is there in that path is werewolf robots that change depending on if the moon is out. If you want to head down shoot the pumpkin when it opens up its shell; Thunder Bolt takes out the pumpkin quickly. Head down the ladder and take out the Sniper Joe. Here is were you can get a secret item. If you can visited Proto Man in the order of Cloud Man's stage and then Turbo's Man's stage you can proceed to the right. Proto Man challenges you to a duel (Proto Man is still a good guy by the way) Proto Man (difficulty 7/10) Proto Man can be tough he fires a lot and jumps a lot. Blast when you can. One you have proved yourself worthy he will lend you his shield to help you beat Wily. Head downward and defeat a few zombie enemies. Next, you will have a dark room to light the candles use Scorch Wheel. After, that Bass will appear and say how he was careless and that Wily should be left to Mega Man. Mega Man tells Bass to head to Dr. Light's lab for repairs then its onto Shade Man. Shade Man (difficulty 6/10) Shade Man is a vampire, if he catches you he will bite you to restore his health. When he stops flying that means he is going to dive so use that pattern to your advantage. You can charge up the Wild Coil to knock him down out of the sky if you would like. Also when he is on the ground he will fire Noise Crushers at you. When you fight him in a rematch do not use his weapon against him he only restores his health. Eventually he will go down. The weapon you get is Noise Crusher. Difficulty Analysis Okay this stage was difficult. It, is difficult because of all the enemies, the pressure room, and just enemy placement in general. Shade Man is tricky because he can use you to refill his health.     
 
Okay if you haven't already done it go to the store and give Auto the big bolt. Now items' prices will be cut in half. Also after you beat the last robot master you will be taken to Dr. Lights Lab. Light tells Mega Man how Bass went crazy after the repairs. Mega Man is shocked until Wily appears on TV and tells Mega Man that Bass and Treble are his creations. Before heading to Wily stage I would buy all the items I could. I recommend getting energy tanks, weapon refills, and the fist power up. 

Wily Stage I (difficulty 6/10)
Okay now its time for the first Wily stage. The first room, just has birds, cannons and up and downs coming up from the pits in it. Deal with these enemies like you did before. Now, for the stages gimmick, you will see platforms on a track. If the platform hits a gap in the track it flips and the lights will go out. So, jump carefully to the next platform or else you will be dumped into the pits. After, climbing up the ladder you will have to deal with fan enemies and egg dropping birds again. Climb down the ladder and equip the Super Adapter to glide up. Head back down and use the Super Adapter to get over the track platforms before they flip. Head upwards and do the same thing again. Bass first fight (difficulty 4/10) Bass is not too hard this time around he just jumps and fires at your level. The layout is uneven so that can work against you. Still dodge his shots and fire at Bass. He will say you won round 1 but he will be back. The next room just gives you roach nests to refill energy. Guts Tank  (difficulty 3/10) this guy is not a problem with the Slash Claw he just throws rocks at you. Difficulty Analysis The main problem with this stage is the lightning and the track platforms. Bass can be a problem due to the layout but once you learn his pattern he goes down. Guts Tank is not even much of a problem with this weakness.

Wily Stage II (difficulty 4/10)
Really, the first few rooms are rooms you have already seen from the Robot Masters, so just take out the enemies like you did before. Now its time to fight Bass again. Bass (difficulty 7/10) Bass is a lot tougher this time. Use the Rush adapter to fight him, because he is going to use his adapter. This fight is an air battle just dodge his fists and counter. He can be tricky to dodge so use the glide ability to your advantage. Keep the rush Adapter to go through the repeated rooms. The boss is a turtle. Turtle Boss (difficulty 4/10) the turtle boss is fast but he only has one attack and that is mini turtles. Just shoot the mini turtles. Difficulty Analysis this stage was just a  repeat of rooms so nothing too hard there. Bass is more of a problem in this stage because of his attacks. The turtle boss can be tricky but once you learn the pattern he goes down easy. 

Wily Stage III (difficulty 6/10)
This stage just has a lot of ladders with cannons nothing to hard yet. But then you will be taken over a floor lined with death spikes. The platforms over the spikes disappear so that is were this stage's main problem comes in. In addition, the airborne attackers are back. The boss for this stage is a Flying Mask also known as the Japanese Mask. Japanese Mask (difficulty 7/10) Okay to beat this boss jump on the torpedoes it fires and slash it with Slash Claw. But be careful because the masks will try to ram you, hit you with torpedoes and fire lasers at you. Difficulty Analysis this stage, had its problems the long room with the blocks is a huge problem because of the disappearing blocks. The mask can be a pain because of all the attacks. 

Wily Stage IV (difficulty 10/10)
This stage is a re fight with all the bosses that is why its difficult. 

Wily Stage V (difficulty 10/10)
This the fight with Dr. Wily. The wily machine is not too bad just hit it with thunder Bolt and dodge. If its going to jump slide under. If it fires skull bots just shoot them. Thunder Bolt really takes the machine out quickly. Now for a real battle Wily is hard in this game. He will use his appearing and disappearing trick again while he is in his saucer.  However he fires several attacks at you. Blue circles will freeze you, Red will burn you, and yellow is electricity. The best thing to do is hit Wily with Wild Coil and try your best to dodge. Be prepared to use Energy Tanks. 

Ending
Mega Man starts to charge up his buster aimed at Wily. Mega Man says he should do what he should have done years ago. Wily tells Mega Man how a robot is not supposed to harm a human. Mega Man replies back I am more than a robot. Bass teleports in and says he who hesitates is lost. Mega Man leaves as Wily and Bass leave. 
Hello, today I am going to be doing a guide and difficulty analysis on my favorite Mega Man video game of all time. Today I am going to be offering a guide of Mega Man 7. I hope this guide helps you play this great game. I will also be using a scale of 1-10 to rate the stages and robot masters: 
1-2 Easy 
3 Slightly difficult 
4-5 Moderate difficulty 
6-7 difficult 
8-10 Very difficult 

Robot Master Order: I use this order in dealing with the robot masters. 
Freeze Man
Burst Man
Cloud Man
Junk Man
Turbo Man
Spring Man
Slash Man 
Shade Man 

So, lets get started with the walk through. 

Intro Stage (difficulty 1/10)
The intro stage is pretty simple. The first part is a cut scene. Roll and Auto (he runs the store Mega Man can use) are talking to Mega Man. Mega Man tells them how Wily has escaped and on the loose. Mega Man comes to Dr. Light who is watching Wily escape. After that you will get control of Mega Man. The only enemy here is a tank enemy. The next enemy is the boss its name is called Mad Grinder. Mad Grinder just has two attacks he will throw his saw on his head as a weapon. If he jumps and your on the ground he can stun you. A, few buster shots takes him down with no problem. Then you will meet Bass. Bass fires at your level so you can manipulate him into doing that. If you score enough hits on Bass he states his business and leaves. Bass tells Mega Man that he and his dog Treble have been trying to stop Dr. Wily ,but since Mega Man is good, he does not need there help. Difficulty Analysis (1/10) yeah this stage is pretty much easy. The only threat here is Mad Grinder and he goes down in a hurry. 

You can buy items from the store in this game just hit select and you will be taken to the store. The currency in this game is bolts that enemies drop. 

Freeze Man Stage (difficulty 7/10)
Freeze Man's stage is an ice stage so the stage is slippery. If you start to slide, jump to stop the sliding. The first enemy is just a wall walker enemy it goes down quick. Next, you will see a Polar Bear (there are 3 in this stage). This polar bear will throw ice at you, but is not too bad. The bear goes down with a few buster shots, if he throws ice at you just jump out of the way. Next, climb the ladders and fight another polar bear. After, defeating the second polar bear, you will need to take out the shield attackers. Climb up the ladder and deal with that shield attacker. Now, the next room has an interesting gimmick. You will notice the enemies on the ceilings that drop ice pegs down. Do not shoot them accept for one as you can stand on their pegs they drop. Also the floor will crumble if you step on it so remember that. Eventually, you will need the ice enemies from the ceiling to drop a peg down on spikes. After they drop their pegs, jump and use it to cross the spikes. The next one  you want it to drop its ice peg and then shoot it to clear the ceiling. You, will then notice a ladder leading to the top room.  After taking out the shield attackers use Rush Coil to get up to the ladder and climb. What, you want to do here is get Rush to land on the first ice platform. Once you get Rush on the platform use him to grab the letter H. Head back down and take the downward route. Head further down and take out the Sniper Joe with a charged shot. You will notice there are an upper branch and a lower branch. Take the upper branch to get a surprise. Do not try to jump over the pits use the Rush Coil. Eventually, you will see the Rush Search adapter pick that up and now Rush can be used to search for items. Head down the gap (make sure you land on the floor and not the pit), shoot the floor enemy to stun it and jump to the next area. Now, it is time for the final polar bear. This one not only throws ice but it can cause icicles to fall down on you. After defeating the bear head right to get a free energy tank. Then, use Rush Coil to climb the ladder. The next room has three sleds that throw bombs at you. Use a charged shot and avoid the bombs. You can try out Rush Search a few steps from the gate. Place Rush Search and watch rush dig up the Exit Unit, it will allow you to exit stages you have already visited. Freeze Man (difficulty 10/10) Be glad this stage gave you a free energy tank, because its time for a hard battle. Freeze Man has so many attacks to hit you with. He can throw ice at you, freeze you on the floor, cause ice to fall down on you, and he is very quick. The best thing to do here is get in shots when you can, charge shots do more damage, and when if needed use the energy tank. The weapon you get after winning this fight is the Freeze Cracker.  Also when you fight Freeze Man again in the Wily Stage do not hit him with the Freeze Cracker. All he does is just stare at you and then he taunts you. Difficulty Analysis this stage is a hard stage. The Ice and pits is what makes it hard. It, can be so easy to slide and fall into a pit. Also the jumps are tricky. Freeze Man is a bigger problem because he has so many attacks. 

Burst Man (difficulty 5/10)
Time for the mandatory water stage, just about every Mega Man game has one. The first enemy you will meet is a tank enemy, just take it out. Now, for what the stage is known for and that is bombs. Step on a bomb platform and the timer starts. If the timer reaches zero the bomb platform will explode. Jump on the bomb platform, then jump off, and take out the tank enemy. Head downward and get a free energy tank, then push against the bomb to clear it. Eventually, you will be dumped into a pool. Remember water physics allow you to jump higher. You, will notice floating bombs in the water. I find it is best to shoot them from a distance, because their explosion field is huge. Also, take out the robot fish, they will swim toward you. After the first, room just head down into more water. The next room you have floating bombs, fish, Mets, and of course death spikes. Now, its time for the mini boss, which is a giant crab. The Crab will fire three fireballs at you, if you jump after the second one the crab will fire upward and miss you. Sometimes the crab will rocket toward you, if this happens slide under him. For an easy win just spam the Crab with buster shots for a quick win. You, will then start to float up. Here, you want to avoid the floating bombs and the death spikes. Now the this stages second gimmick. The water will start moving up and down. Before proceeding make sure the water has risen or else you will fall on death spikes. After, all that head up the ladder and jump on the disappearing blocks. You, will also need to jump on the disappearing blocks to get across the floor with spikes. Head down and take out the frog robots. Then, it is back into the pool. The final pool room is straight forward, just let the rising water carry you safely. Be sure to jump up and get the letter R. Next, climb up the ladder take out the wall walker, that is guarding the gate. Burst Man (difficulty 4/10) okay Burst man likes to fire bubble bombs at you in hopes of trapping you. If you get trapped quickly tap the slide button or else it is a trip to the spikes on the ceiling. To defeat Burst Man hit him with Freeze Cracker and dodge. The weapon you get is Danger Wrap. Difficulty Analysis this stage is moderate difficult because of the water physics and spikes as well as the bombs. Burst Man his main problem is he can send you into the death spikes. 

Cloud Man (difficulty 6/10)
Now for the air stage of the group. The first room has a lot going on in it. First of all, birds will try to dive at you, just shoot the lead bird and the rest will fly over you. Second, the pits have up and down enemies moving up and down from the pits, so watch out for that when you jump. Next, you will see a strange floating robot shoot it and it starts to rain. Climb the next ladder and hit the next floating robot with Freeze Cracker. The weather will start snowing that will be useful for later on in this stage. After, shooting the floating robot just deal with birds and jump on the platforms to go up. For the next room you want to shoot the flying robots and land on the fan platforms. Remember how when you shot the second floating robot it made it snow. You will notice the platforms are now frozen and they can disappear. Yes, if you did not shoot the second robot with Freeze Cracker these blocks would appear and reappear. The enemy placement in this room is bad. You have flying enemies and birds that will drop eggs, with mini birds in them. You, will also notice a ladder leading upwards, climb that ladder and head left to get your U. After collecting the letter U just head back down then climb up the ladder. Take out the Sniper Joe and take the left ladder. Take out the two tank weapons, use Rush Coil and climb the ladder to get some advice form Proto Man. Head back down and continue. Now, the next section some players like to use to get bolts. A bird will come and drop the eggs, shoot the mini birds to get bolts and head back to the left to repeat. The next room just has birds and fan enemies. The Fan enemies will try to blow you off the platforms, so take them out quickly. Take out the bird eggs and its onto towards the gate. Cloud Man (4/10) Cloud Man can be hard or moderate depending on you fight him. If you do not use his weakness jump his lightening bolts. When he tries to blow you off with his wind keep dashing to avoid falling into the pit. If you fight him with his weakness you will still have to dodge lightening bolts but you can lock him into a pattern. Hit him with Danger Wrap for a quick victory. The Weapon you get is Thunder Bolt. Difficulty Analysis Okay this stage can be tricky. This stage has lots of jumps and airborne  enemies to deal with. It is so easy to get knocked into the pit either by enemies or by panic. Cloud Man can be tricky due to his lightening bolts and the wind he creates. 

Junk Man Stage (difficulty 5/10)
The first enemy you will meet is a flying enemy that drops bombs and shoots at you. A charged shot takes it out. After, that you will meet Mets, and roaches. The roaches have a nest that can produce a lot of them, so be sure to take out the roach nests as well. After a few roach nests you will be taken on an elevator. The only real threat here is Mets so just shoot them as they are coming down. The next room has roaches and lava in it (the lava is instant death). It should be noted that you can freeze the lava with Freeze Cracker, In fact, if you hit the lava fall it opens a secret path, that you will need to revisit to get a special item. Take the upper path and climb the ladder. You will notice cylinders attached to chains on them. Shoot the machine with the Thunder Bolt to power it up. The cylinders can be ridden on up to the top, but be careful because you can be crushed to death. Ride the cylinder up to the ladder, climb the ladder, and use Rush Coil for another ladder. Climb that ladder and you can get the Rush Jet ability. Now, you can use Rush as a jet to get across pits. Head up the next ladder and you will see junk piles. Do not get into the junk piles because a junk snake is waiting to bite you. Also you can power the magnet machines but I do not recommend it, because you can be dropped into the pits. After, the last junk pit you will notice fan platforms. If a machine falls on a platform it will shoot on you. I prefer to use the Rush jet to cross this section. Once your across the pits head down the ladder take out a cannon enemy guarding the Gate. Junk Man (difficulty 2/10) after, a moderate stage you would think the robot master would be hard? In this case Junk man is not hard at all. All he does is jump around throwing junk at you. He is slow and leaves himself open for attacks. Thunder Bolt takes this guy out very quick. The weapon you get is Junk Shield. Now after you beat this stage you want to head back to the lave room. Hit the lava fall with Freeze Cracker and it opens a secrete path. Head down and shoot another lava fall that is guarding the S plate. Once you collect the S plate you should have all the letters that spell Rush. Now Mega Man can fuse with Rush he can glide and fire his fist. Once, you get enough bolts you can upgrade the fists by buying a power up from the store. Difficulty analysis The stage is a bigger problem than the robot master. The roaches can be annoying and if you get a lot on the screen; they will swarm you. Also the lava paths to cross can be hard as well as the pits. Junk Man is very easy to beat even without  his weakness. 

Robot Museum (difficulty 1/10)
After, Mega Man defeats the first four robot masters he heads back for home. However, Dr. Light shows him how Wily is attacking the  Robot Museum. Mega Man gets there only to find Dr. Wily is stealing a Guts Man model. Wily leaves and a strange boss drops from the ceiling. This boss is silly the weak point is its head. Shoot the head and the head flies off. The best weapons to use are Thunder Bolt or Danger Wrap either one works well. Difficulty Analysis yeah there isn't much to stay about this stage the big and round enemy is not hardly even a threat. All you have to do is shoot the head and dodge under his jumps. 

After the Robot Museum Wily releases another group of robots onto the city. So now you have 4 new bosses. You can also visit the previous stages as well. 

Turbo Man Stage (difficulty 8/10)
 Okay now for an action pact stage. The first robot is a Joe driving a bulldozer. Thunder Bolt, is the weapon to use here as it takes the bulldozer out quickly (shoot at the Joe not the bulldozer). Another weapon that works well is the Noise Crusher weapon. After, taking out the Joe enemy you will meet piston and cone like enemies. These are easy to take out with Danger Wrap. Climb up the ladder and take out the Sniper Joe then head up the next ladder. The next room can be a pain. The tires on the ceiling will bounce you and then you have the cone enemies to deal with. Next, you will notice death spikes at the bottom after a tire. Do not fall down into the tire before the spikes it just takes you to another Joe driving a bulldozer, and then you have to start over again. What, you want to do is use Rush Jet to get across the spikes and avoid the trap door. After, using Rush Jet, you will see an enemy that throws tires at you. Just avoid the tires and head upwards. Climb the ladder avoid the tires and right at the end of the ladder jump to the right. You will enter a room with Proto Man in it to give you some more advice. Head back toward the ladder and climb up. Just, when you think the stage could not get any harder. The next room has engines that shoot fire out. There are two ways to get past this room. First, you can use the Freeze Cracker to freeze the fire. Second, you can take a hit and do hit and dash quickly to the shaft. Fall down the shaft and be prepared to slide as fire beams will be coming at you. The fire beams are instant death if you are quick you can pick up an energy tank. If, you survived the fire beams you will be dumped on the back of a truck. The truck will shoot missiles at you to take it out hits its face with thunder bolt. After, defeating the truck you will have piston enemies to deal with again, use Danger Wrap like you did before to head toward the gate. Turbo Man (difficulty 8/10) Turbo Man is a pain. Whatever you do not hit him with the Thunder Bolt it only helps him. He, will throw fire at you that requires creative ways to dodge. The fire can also climb the wall and drop back down requiring you do dodge the fire twice. In addition, he will morph into a race car and try to run over you. I find it best to dodge then fire whenever you can. If you are low on health use the energy tank you picked up. His weakness is Noise Crusher. The weapon you get from this fight is Scorch Wheel. Difficulty Analysis ugh, this can be a painful stage. There are lots of enemies and death traps in this stage. Then there is Turbo Man himself. Turbo Man can hit you with fire as well as run over you. 

Spring Man Stage (2/10)
Okay, now for a bouncy stage, no pun intended. The main gimmick here is springs; the springs can be used to bounce higher. To start this stage off there is a bolt on top if you want to get it. Head down the shaft and meet a coil enemy. He is pretty simple just take it out as well as the cannon enemies. The next part of the room has the same enemies accept they add a wall crawler to the mix. Head down the shaft and instead of spikes they are springs, that will bounce you around. The next room after falling down just has springs and a slinky type enemy in it. The slinky enemy can be taken out with Junk Shield. The next room just has floor enemies and death spikes so just avoid them and proceed. After climbing a few ladders you will notice boxes that have arrows on them. After, the arrows flash a boxing glove comes out. Head up and you will notice a big block is blocking the way. The boxes can change direction by jumping on them. Let, the boxing glove take out the big block. There is a big bolt on the other side with death spikes guarding the ceiling. You can use the Rush Coil to get to the bolt then use Rush Jet to fly across. If you go up another path you can go to another room that has an energy tank in it. Fall back down to the main part of the room and all that is needed to jump on platforms to get to the ladder. Climb up the ladder on the far right and take out the Sniper Joe. Now, you can head for the gate. Spring Man (difficulty 1/10) Spring Man is very easy to beat without his weakness. He just jumps tries to punch you, this attack is very avoidable. Another attack is he shoots springs at you. His weakness is the Slash Claw, but just charged buster shots will do just fine. You will get Wild Coil from this battle. Difficulty Analysis okay, this stage is easy really the only threat is the death spikes and the boxing gloves. Spring man is so easy that he can be beat quickly without his weakness. 

Slash Man Stage (7/10) 
Okay time for another painful stage. The first enemy you meet is a dinosaur  that shoots spikes at you. In addition, you also have the birds trying to swarm you as well as falling logs in waterfalls to get across. After all of that climb the ladder. The floor enemies can be taken out with Danger Wrap. Now you have death spikes so how do you get across. You, will need to hitch a ride on the dinosaur that is sleeping. The dinosaur will take you across the spikes, but also shoot the air borne enemies down. As the dinosaur falls down jump onto the next dinosaur and repeat. There is an energy tank to get but it is risky to get it as it requires a lot of careful maneuvering to get. Climb the ladder and take out Sniper Joe to climb another ladder.  Now, for a fast paced battle you see a lot of spikes with platforms quickly go to the right and do not look back. A T-Rex is going to be chasing you. Eventually, you will have to fight the T-Rex, he will try to breathe fire on you. To take him out use the Thunder Bolt weapon and aim for the face. The next area is a forests with hornets in the trees, and frog enemies at the bottom. If you use the Scorch Wheel on the trees it burns the hornets. The Scorch Wheel can also reveal a secret ladder. Climb that ladder fire a charged shot to set Beat free. Beat, is different in this game than others instead of being an attacker, he will pull Mega Man out of a pit as long as he has a whistle. After, that you will see eggs with small dinosaurs hatching. I find it best to use Junk Shield to take them out and head toward the gate. Slash Man (difficulty 10/10) okay, this guy has two weaknesses Scorch Wheel or Freeze Cracker. Freeze Cracker, is easier to hit him with so use that. Slash Man will spam you with attacks. He can nail you with his claw and throw tar down on you from the ceiling. When he is down hit him with his two weaknesses. As I stated Freeze Cracker is the better one to use. However even with is weakness he is a pain to dodge. The weapon you win is Slash Claw. Difficulty Analysis this stage was hard. You, have a lot of enemies and death traps in this stage. They are large enemies to deal with, waterfalls, and death spikes. Then there is slash man himself. Slash Man will spam you with his attacks so be prepared to use an energy tank. 

Shade Man Stage (difficulty 6/10)
Now, its time for a haunted house, that is right strange things will happen in this castle. Nah only kidding but this stage has a vampire theme, which makes sense because Shade Man is a vampire bot. The first room in hit has two enemies. The first enemy is a bird that taunts you by mooning you as well as firing bullets. Just take the bird out. The second, enemy is zombies. The zombies can be numerous but they will die on their own. Still it is best to take out the zombies. The next room has knight armors in it. However, every other knight armor has a helmet enemy. The helmet enemies will just throw saw blades at you, but they are not hard to take out. The next few ladders just have a few rooms with the taunting birds in them. Now for a tricky part the next room has bats (they are not the problem) and pressers. The pressers if they crush you are instant death I think. Also after they hit the ground you can use them as a platform, but be sure to jump or you will be crushed against the ceiling. Now you will have to fight the mini boss a giant Pumpkin. If you just shoot the eyes it will crash into the wall. All that is there in that path is werewolf robots that change depending on if the moon is out. If you want to head down shoot the pumpkin when it opens up its shell; Thunder Bolt takes out the pumpkin quickly. Head down the ladder and take out the Sniper Joe. Here is were you can get a secret item. If you can visited Proto Man in the order of Cloud Man's stage and then Turbo's Man's stage you can proceed to the right. Proto Man challenges you to a duel (Proto Man is still a good guy by the way) Proto Man (difficulty 7/10) Proto Man can be tough he fires a lot and jumps a lot. Blast when you can. One you have proved yourself worthy he will lend you his shield to help you beat Wily. Head downward and defeat a few zombie enemies. Next, you will have a dark room to light the candles use Scorch Wheel. After, that Bass will appear and say how he was careless and that Wily should be left to Mega Man. Mega Man tells Bass to head to Dr. Light's lab for repairs then its onto Shade Man. Shade Man (difficulty 6/10) Shade Man is a vampire, if he catches you he will bite you to restore his health. When he stops flying that means he is going to dive so use that pattern to your advantage. You can charge up the Wild Coil to knock him down out of the sky if you would like. Also when he is on the ground he will fire Noise Crushers at you. When you fight him in a rematch do not use his weapon against him he only restores his health. Eventually he will go down. The weapon you get is Noise Crusher. Difficulty Analysis Okay this stage was difficult. It, is difficult because of all the enemies, the pressure room, and just enemy placement in general. Shade Man is tricky because he can use you to refill his health.     
 
Okay if you haven't already done it go to the store and give Auto the big bolt. Now items' prices will be cut in half. Also after you beat the last robot master you will be taken to Dr. Lights Lab. Light tells Mega Man how Bass went crazy after the repairs. Mega Man is shocked until Wily appears on TV and tells Mega Man that Bass and Treble are his creations. Before heading to Wily stage I would buy all the items I could. I recommend getting energy tanks, weapon refills, and the fist power up. 

Wily Stage I (difficulty 6/10)
Okay now its time for the first Wily stage. The first room, just has birds, cannons and up and downs coming up from the pits in it. Deal with these enemies like you did before. Now, for the stages gimmick, you will see platforms on a track. If the platform hits a gap in the track it flips and the lights will go out. So, jump carefully to the next platform or else you will be dumped into the pits. After, climbing up the ladder you will have to deal with fan enemies and egg dropping birds again. Climb down the ladder and equip the Super Adapter to glide up. Head back down and use the Super Adapter to get over the track platforms before they flip. Head upwards and do the same thing again. Bass first fight (difficulty 4/10) Bass is not too hard this time around he just jumps and fires at your level. The layout is uneven so that can work against you. Still dodge his shots and fire at Bass. He will say you won round 1 but he will be back. The next room just gives you roach nests to refill energy. Guts Tank  (difficulty 3/10) this guy is not a problem with the Slash Claw he just throws rocks at you. Difficulty Analysis The main problem with this stage is the lightning and the track platforms. Bass can be a problem due to the layout but once you learn his pattern he goes down. Guts Tank is not even much of a problem with this weakness.

Wily Stage II (difficulty 4/10)
Really, the first few rooms are rooms you have already seen from the Robot Masters, so just take out the enemies like you did before. Now its time to fight Bass again. Bass (difficulty 7/10) Bass is a lot tougher this time. Use the Rush adapter to fight him, because he is going to use his adapter. This fight is an air battle just dodge his fists and counter. He can be tricky to dodge so use the glide ability to your advantage. Keep the rush Adapter to go through the repeated rooms. The boss is a turtle. Turtle Boss (difficulty 4/10) the turtle boss is fast but he only has one attack and that is mini turtles. Just shoot the mini turtles. Difficulty Analysis this stage was just a  repeat of rooms so nothing too hard there. Bass is more of a problem in this stage because of his attacks. The turtle boss can be tricky but once you learn the pattern he goes down easy. 

Wily Stage III (difficulty 6/10)
This stage just has a lot of ladders with cannons nothing to hard yet. But then you will be taken over a floor lined with death spikes. The platforms over the spikes disappear so that is were this stage's main problem comes in. In addition, the airborne attackers are back. The boss for this stage is a Flying Mask also known as the Japanese Mask. Japanese Mask (difficulty 7/10) Okay to beat this boss jump on the torpedoes it fires and slash it with Slash Claw. But be careful because the masks will try to ram you, hit you with torpedoes and fire lasers at you. Difficulty Analysis this stage, had its problems the long room with the blocks is a huge problem because of the disappearing blocks. The mask can be a pain because of all the attacks. 

Wily Stage IV (difficulty 10/10)
This stage is a re fight with all the bosses that is why its difficult. 

Wily Stage V (difficulty 10/10)
This the fight with Dr. Wily. The wily machine is not too bad just hit it with thunder Bolt and dodge. If its going to jump slide under. If it fires skull bots just shoot them. Thunder Bolt really takes the machine out quickly. Now for a real battle Wily is hard in this game. He will use his appearing and disappearing trick again while he is in his saucer.  However he fires several attacks at you. Blue circles will freeze you, Red will burn you, and yellow is electricity. The best thing to do is hit Wily with Wild Coil and try your best to dodge. Be prepared to use Energy Tanks. 

Ending
Mega Man starts to charge up his buster aimed at Wily. Mega Man says he should do what he should have done years ago. Wily tells Mega Man how a robot is not supposed to harm a human. Mega Man replies back I am more than a robot. Bass teleports in and says he who hesitates is lost. Mega Man leaves as Wily and Bass leave.

tornadocam : This game seems more balanced in terms of difficulty, I think. That combined with other factors makes it so I'm not surprised about you stating that it's your favorite Mega Man game of all time. Again, the guide is nicely done.
