Bobob Bo Bobobo. I've seen that anime on, but I never once watched a full episode of it. I never found it that interesting. I have watched something similar to it, however. Excel Saga is an anime that's just as super zany as Bobobo. Really, it's literally crazy, but it's actually a good watch. Both that and Bobobo are what's called "experimental anime. And they sure seem it, because neither are normal animes you normally see.

It's several years old, but came out well after 2000. If you search around the internet or even your local anime store they may have it. The show makes a ton of comical references to Japanese pop culture throughout each episode. There's even an option that manifests pop-up bubbles with explanations as to what certain things mean and how actions and dialogue correlate to the culture.
