So, I personally find this a bit funny but I want to know what you guys think. The Baltimore Orioles have an African American rookie named Josh Hart. Their manager Buck Showalter asked him if he knew about Frank Robinson, the man who broke the color barrier for the American League on the Orioles.

Hart said he did not know about him so Showalter told Hart to go home, research Robinson, and write a one page paper on Robinson. I feel that's actually a good thing to help the player learn more about the history, but I don't think things like this happen often.

I actually liked what the O's manager did. It teaches this player respect and how to appreciate one of the greatest  players of all time. Not many managers would have done that.
