A paradox is something that happen's and there's no way out of it!!! or there's a million way's out of it but at a price!!! or there's a million way's out of it but you can't do it!!!

That's a paradox... it's like... when someone black-mail's you and there's a choice!!!
Choice 1. You do as they ask.
Choice 2. You resist and you get embarrassed or in trouble.

You see that's a paradox!!! either way you loose!!!

Paradox:

3. any person, thing, or situation exhibiting an apparently contradictory nature.

Basically, a paradox is a (sometimes mysterious) contradiction. Take this picture, for example- the Pinocchio Paradox. A pic I found to be pretty interesting...



We all know that when Pinocchio lies his nose immediately grows out. The fact that he is saying that contradicts itself because he is both lying and telling the truth at the same time. If he is lying his nose would grow, but then that would mean he was right all along about his nose. But if he was telling the truth his nose would still grow even though it shouldn't because he wasn't lying. So which is it? What would the nose do? That's the paradox.
