I made this Silent Film with my friends for my digital media class. Enjoy! Be sure to watch the entire thing, the best part is after the credits!



If you didn't understand the plot, I will explain it. Jimmy goes to the store and buys a cupboard (the box is supposed to be a cupboard. Shut up, we had a budget of $0!). He assembles the cupboard. He lives near a train station and the trains going by causes him to fall and break the supposedly strong cupboard. He rebuilds it and the same thing happens. He calls the customer service guy who then comes and helps him out. The cupboard breaks again, so the customer service guy says that he will climb inside the cupboard to see what is wrong. Just then, Jimmy's brother comes home. He looks in the cupboard and is shocked to see some random guy sitting in it. Jimmy then says "You probably won't believe me, but I am sitting here waiting for a train." Then my friend Travis proceeds to jump on the box and destroy it.

That's hilarious! How long did it take you to make that?

It's a pretty original idea.

MoblinGardens : Thanks, glad you like it It took 4 periods, each period is 45 minutes, so 180 minutes (3 hours). It really didn't take long at all. It would have taken even less time, but everyone kept goofing off.

Nice! I especially enjoyed the statement at the end. I was worried sick about the poor box... xD

Honestly, It's better than most movies I see. I hate movies and I like this one.

Not bad. It froze my computer mutiple times, but it's really good. Do you happen to be the box?

lol.  Boxes were most definitely hurt during the making of this film!  I loved that the quote came right before a close-up to the super-damaged box.  That was brilliant.

Overall, the movie was interesting, but it lacked punch.  I expected him to get knocked over by one of the guys at the end, and was disappointed when my expectations were dashed...But I liked it.  

Very funny! I enjoyed it.

On a more serious note, I'm here to protest for box rights. As a pro-box advocate of B.O.X. (Box Organization that's far from Xanadu) I must inform you that you've been added to the B.O.X blacklist.

I really liked the soundtrack but for a silent movie everyone moved too slow. In silent movies everyone moves at twice the speed of human.

I wish they would have classes like that when I was in school!
