After watching all the cutscenes from Sonic 06 I started to theorize about something which I had wondered about for a long time. And after paying close attention to various details in the scenes, I thought "why not?". But hold on, this isn't just going to be about Sonic 06, it'll reference other games as well. And I think that I have a pretty solid theory here. So, buckle up tight and get ready for a ride.

In Sonic 06, the first time that Princess chick Elise sees Sonic, Sonic flashes, into Silver for a brief moment, and yes, this might be because of Elise's memory of Silver handing her the blue chaos emerald after sealing Iblis for the first time. But Elise is connected to the spiritual realm or whatever you call it, did she just confused the two because they are similar? Or did she sense a connection? It could be because the two are related.

Blaze the cat likes Sonic the Hedgehog, this is shown in the black Knight to a certain degree, but Blaze could not ever really hope to start a real relationship with Sonic, as, he is from the past and she is from the future, also, at the end of Sonic 06, in the future where Silver attempts to seal Iblis using Elise's prayer, but Iblis will not accept Silver as the vessel, what does Blaze do? Blaze take's Silver's place as the vessel for Ibis and uses the chaos emeralds to seal Iblis inside her. She commands Silver to cast her into another dimension, this way Iblis would be forever isolated from the real world and could threaten people no longer.

Is this a subtle way of saying "I love you?" I don't think that either characters could bring themselves to say it directly. I mean, Blaze is too reserved, and Sliver lacks self-confidence.

Well, let's start from the beginning shall we?

Lancelot, is doubtlessly a name that you've heard of before, or at least it should be. Lancelot is the name of a knight of the round table in Authurian legends. All of the knights of the round table in Sonic and the Black Knight come from Authurian legends. Including Percival, Gawain, and the two other knights who are exclusive to battle mode. Sir Lamorack, and Sir Galahad.

Fact:

Did you know that Sir Galahad (played by Silver) is Lancelot's son?

It also appears that Silver playing as Galahad was originally planned to appear in the adventure mode of Black Knight as is hinted by some of the text, but was canceled.


Now, this would suggest the Silver is Shadow's descendant, which isn't that unlikely either, and honestly, I'm not directly opposed to this idea either, except for this one last piece of evidence.


In Sonic Rivals 1 or 2, (not sure which) my sister tells me that it is stated that Silver and Dr. Eggman Nega have long been rivals.

Who is Dr Eggman Nega a descendant of?

Dr. Eggman of the present- Sega said that themselves!

Hmmm, a hedgehog from the future battling a scientist who is a descendant of a scientist who battles a hedgehog in the present.

Who else could Silver be related to? I think that he may be a descendant of Sonic and Shadow both, since there's lot's of time for various possible wedlock combinations as Silver comes from 200 years into the future. But who knows? Is Sonic ever going to settle down and get married?

Let me correct you about Blaze.

She's not from the future, she's a princess from a dimension parallel to Sonic's.

He's not inaccessible to her. They live in the same time, just different dimensions.

And she can visit him whenever she wants, as she's at his birthday party at the beginning of Generations.

As for Silver, Sonic 06's official website says that he was like a younger brother to her. No romantic love, just sibling-like.

Well, if you're saying that Blaze came from the sol dimension, and was just so happening to be visiting the future, that may be true. But it seems to me from Sonic 06 that Blaze was native to the same world that Silver is, I think that's why she's trying to save it.

In 06, She remarks regretfully, "a blue hedgehog". Possibly because she had met sonic before, but the two don't show any recognition of each other when they actually meet in the game.

I'm going to guess that you are right about her being native to the sol dimension though, since the latest retcon in Sonic Generations. Although I think that Sega has gone back and forth a lot regarding the canon of Blazes homeworld being the same as silver's as well as the first time Blaze and Sonic met.


As for the possible romance between the two. I suppose you may be there. . . Sega said so themselves. . . although I would like to point out that many relationships start in childhood as nothing more than being friends like that.
