Mega Man IV walk through
Tornadocam here and today I’m going to do a walk through of Mega Man IV for Game Boy. MegaMan IV was a big hit for the Game Boy series. I will be using a difficulty
scale for the stages and robot masters: 1-2 easy, 3 slightly difficult, 4-5
moderate difficulty, 6-7 difficult and 8-10 very difficult.
For this game I have a few orders but here is

the one I recommend and will be using in this walk through.
First Set:
Toad Man, Bright Man, Pharaoh Man, and Ring Man
Second Set:
Napalm Man, Stone Man, Charge Man and Crystal Man

Make a note, the Mega Muster is very powerful when charged it does have some recoil to it. So remember that if you are on the edge of a cliff because it could knock you into the pit.

Toad Man Stage (Difficulty 2/10)- You will notice that it is raining.
The rain has winds that will push you back so remember as you look to the
right, the floor will have a current so watch out for that. Head down the shaft
keep falling there are no spikes this time. The next enemy is a rat enemy just use the
charged shot or shots to take them out avoid the pits and proceed. Now for the
stage’s Mini Boss. It is a snail the only weak point is when he has his eyes open
so just blast them when he opens them. In the next room you will notice a
letter plate. Just hop up there using the platforms and get the letter. Take
out the umbrella enemies and time your jumps carefully. Next you have to climb
a long ladder avoid or take out the soap enemy and the rats. You will then
enter pools of water remember you can jump higher and also avoid the spikes.
Before falling into the next shaft go to the left a little bit to get a secret
area with an E-tank. Fall down the
shaft, take out the next snail. The other rooms are just a repeat. Toad Man (difficulty 1/10) Toad man is still a joke just like he was in Mega Man 4. Shoot him, slide then shoot he will jump other you each time and never attack you. He goes down pretty easy.

Bright Man stage (Difficulty 5/10)
the first thing you will see is a
p-chip use rush to get it. Now you have two enemies the first being a flying
light enemy if you shoot it the room goes dark. To get the lights back on shoot
the enemy with a cannon sticking up from its back. Avoid the big pits and climb
the ladder. Now the next room all you need to do is take out the toy machine
enemy, but then you will notice a lever. Flip the lever to activate the
platforms jump on them to get them to move up, but beware of the flying light
enemies. Now jump down the few shafts and you will meet a strange platform with
a Guts Man face. Jump on the platform you can move it up or down by jumping.
Jumping makes the platform go up, doing nothing it causes it go lower. Just
work it around platforms till you reach the get off point. After climbing a
ladder you enter a room were you have to pull the levers again just the same
room as before. The next room has platforms that move back and forth just don’t
panic and jump onto the next one. You will notice the letter E in the center,
just jump up and get it. The next room just has light enemies and then one more
Guts Man platform now onto Bright Man. Bright
Man (difficulty 8/10)
. Okay Bright man likes to cheat. He can jump and thus
landing on you. He can also shoot you and then use his flash stopper. Not
knowing when he will jump is what makes this fight difficult. You can use Rain
Flush to do extra damage to him, but he will still jump. The stage is somewhat
difficult because of all the jumping and pits as well as enemies. Bright Man is
harder due to him having an unpredictable pattern.

Pharaoh Man Stage (difficulty 4/10)
the first room has sand in it don’t
stay in the sand or you will sink. The sand also has sand scorpions in it; just
ignore them because if you shoot one another one rises to take its place. Also
ignore the flies flying above dropping bullets so that is the first room. Make
your way down the shaft the next room just has more sand. The flying enemies
are now bug copters you want to take them out because they will swarm you if
you do not. The next room just has spikes and mummies that will pop out from
the walls just take them out and proceed.
In the middle of the room is an E-tank if you want it. The next room has
sand in it, flies and mummies deal with them as before and then go down the
shaft. Now for a tricky jump. You will
notice platforms these platforms fall if you jump on them. Also the letter A is
above one. What you want to try to do is quickly jump onto the platform near
the A letter grab it and then land on the center one and jump to the next
platform. If you missed the A letter you can go right then go back to reset the
blocks. Now onto Pharaoh Man. Pharaoh Man (difficulty rating 7/10)
can be a problem if you do not uses special weapons, he is very fast. He will
close in on you and shoot you with Pharaoh Shots. If you want to use special
weapons he is weak to the Flash Stopper. Pharaoh’s stage was not too bad the
enemy placement is what bumps this stage up in difficulty. Pharaoh man can be a
problem if you do not use special weapons. If you use the Flash stopper he goes
down quick, but he can still be in a position where you cannot hit him. If you
use the flash stopper make sure he is next to you.

Ring Man?
stage (Difficulty 7/10)-welcome to this stage. The first room has platforms that vanish as soon as you step on
them (they will appear again as soon as you jump off) and wall cannons be
careful and climb the ladders. You get to a room with ring enemies the saw
enemy on the floor just carefully hope on the platform to the next. Now when you fall down the shaft you will be
on one of those platforms the best thing is to hang a left so you can jump off
the platform quickly. Head down the ladder and just jump on the next platforms.
The next several ladders is just a repeat of ring enemies, saw enemies, cannons
and the platforms so nothing new here. You will notice in the middle of a room
is a ladder, climb the ladder slide to get the letter T. Climb up the ladder
and meet the ring mini boss. The ring Minnie boss can only be shot at when it
opens up its rings. So just get a charged shot when you can. The next rooms are
like the stage repeating itself deal with that like you did before. Eventually
you will fight the ring Minnie boss again. The next area is just another long
ladder to climb with the same old enemies to deal with. Ring Man (difficulty 5/10) Ring Man can be a problem. Ring Man is
fast and will try to spam you with his ring weapon. For a quick win use Pharaoh
shot to quickly win. If you are using buster shots just dodge and fire you he
will eventually go down. This stage was difficult because of the ladders and
dodging the cannons. Not to mention this stage was real long. Ring Man does
have a pattern so if you can pick up on it, he isn't too bad but can still
cause trouble

Wily Tank (First Ballade Encounterdifficulty 7/10) The
boss is just an orbital circle just dodge its attacks and fire with a buster
shot to take it down. Once inside you will need to clear a way shooting the
missiles. Now onto the Ballade fight, ugh Ballade is fast and his Ballade
Crackers pack a punch. He is not too bad in this battle as he isn't as fast
he will become. Still he can be a problem so bring an E-tank here to be safe. Ballade is what drives the difficulty up

Napalm Man Stage (difficulty 7/10) The stage opens the shaft up fall down
then head down a ladder. You will notice a tiger is guarding the passage, which
happens to be the correct path. So take out the tiger robot and proceed. See
the ladder with fire underneath it. Use Rain flush to put out the fire
temporally then climb up the ladder. The top ladder has Proto Man in it to hand
you an item. Put out the fire again and head down the ladder you will see a met
cannon at the bottom just take it out. Now you will find a large pit you can’t
jump it so what do you do? The drills can be used as a platform, but do not
touch the drill spikes as that is instant death. Just take a ride on the drill
and get to the other side. Now you have drills coming toward you just duck into
the dips they give you too till they pass and proceed. After jumping on more
drills you climb a ladder with a met cannon just take it out and climb the next
ladder. The next room has missiles take them out and watch out for their parts.
Next take out the tiger tank leap before crossing the pit, the reason being it
tricks the missile into coming out of the pit before you jump. The next room
you will notice a platform on top but it is surrounded by fire. Get up there
put out the fire temporally with rain flush, jump on the next platform, get the
letter I, but hurry because the fire comes back. Now for a tricky part after
falling through the shaft move very quickly avoid the missiles because the
floor is going to cave in on you so move it.
Next you head up use the drill as a platform climb the ladder. Napalm Man (difficulty 7/10) Napalm Man is a problem he is in a small area so you can’t dodge him like you could in Mega Man 5. His bombs also pack a punch. I have found it best when he lands
from jumping fire with a charged shot. Crystal Eye is his weakness but sometimes it is just best to use the buster. He is also bad about cornering you
when you think he is going to land slide and fire. This stage was hectic lots
of explosions, drills with death spikes and then there was the boss himself.
This stage was difficult to say the least.

Stone Man stage (difficulty 6/10) now for a long stage. The first stage has met shoot it
and it splits into 3 parts. There is also a mine on the floor as well so take
it out. As you head right you will see a
pipe platform jump on it and it rotates to the other side remember this. Fall
down the shaft make your away across the platforms that fall and take out the
rock enemy. Head over some more
platforms take out another rock enemy and fall down to the next room. The next
room has a hippo on blocks. Shoot the blocks to bring him down and fire or use
flash stopper on him and shoot him either way works. After that jump over the
pits and take out the shield enemies as well the oyster enemy (these behave
like bubble bats from earlier games) and the mets then just climb the ladder.
Climb the next ladder jump across the spikes to the next ladder. Then you face
the hippo again just deal with him like you did before. The path splits the top one requires you to
have Rush Jet (all that is up there is an Energy Tank). If you do not have Rush
Jet then go down the other way take out the mines as well and proceed
downward. The next room just has the
falling blocks and a few shield weapons. If you go down the next shaft you will
find you can get an E-tank but to get it use Rush Coil then head down again.
The next phase just has rooms with mines, pits and shield attacks. Before you
fall down the next shaft you will see the letter L hang a right to get it and
then continue to fall down but hang another right or its death spikes you fall
down on. Stone Man (difficulty 5/10) here is the problem he likes to jump and can land on you doing lots of damage.
The room is also small which makes this fight harder. However he is week to
Napalm Bombs so hit them with it or you can just charge the buster. This stage
was long and you can get hit a lot or fall into pits if you are not careful.
Stone man is tricky because of how he jumps.

Charge Man Stage (difficulty 3/10) to start the stage just climb the ladder you will be
taken to the top of the train. Now what you want to do is take out the train
mets a charged shot will do the trick. There is also air enemies that drop
bombs on you so watch out for them and they are death spikes so jump over them.
Then fall down to inside the train. The next room has bomb enemies, oyster
enemies, and a robot hen to deal with them just take them out nothing to hard. Then
you climb a ladder and see a repeat of the room before on top of the train.
Head back down and you meet the same enemies. The only new enemy is a mouse
enemy a charged shot takes it out. Then it is back to on top of the train again
with the same met enemies and bomb enemies. Now take out the robot hen and
climb the ladder and its back on top of the train same enemies as before. Head
down the ladder and notice a path to the right, use Rush Coil, to get up there
and get your E-tank. Slide under and
then you will see the Letter Y jump up and get it or use Rush Coil to get it.
The next rooms just have robot hens deal with them as you did before. Charge
Man (difficulty 5/10
) ugh this guy can be a problem. He is hard to jump over
but he also can turn invincible when he is firing coal up. Charge Man is weak
to power stone so use that if you can hit him with it, or just use charge
shots. Charge Man leaves himself open for attacks before charging so use that
to your advantage. This stage was pretty easy nothing to hard just a few
enemies and spikes to deal with. Charge Man himself can be another story.

Crystal Man
Stage (difficulty 10/10) okay now for the hardest stage in this entire game be prepared to lose a few lives on this one. First make a right you will see a track enemy
shoot it to make it move and get a piece of an e-tank. Head up the ladder and take out the Crystal Joe
(remember he can only be attacked after he fires his crystal so remember that).
Nothing in the next room accept some air bomb enemies. Now here is where the
game starts getting difficult. You will fall down a platform but the path has
spikes. Jump over the spikes if you’re not sure use Rush Coil. The next enemy
you want to shoot the top part to take it out. Cross over more platforms and
then take out more of the split enemies as before (aim for the top part). Head down the ladder and you will notice a
Crystal Joe is guarding a secret passage blast him, go through that and get the
last letter it’s the letter W. Now all the letters spell BEAT WILY. Head down
the ladder and then take out the mine sweeper enemy go across more platforms
and climb the ladder. Take out the Crystal Joe and continue to climb up.
Proceed to the right and you notice you have falling platforms and mind
sweepers take out the sweepers. Jump onto the next platform it will fall but
get it to where you can slide out to the next room (this is tricky to pull off
if you miss you land on death spikes). Now the Path splits up the top path is a
repeat of everything up until now. If you do down the lower path. You will need
to work the falling platform down were you can make another tricky jump. Head
down the next ladder. Now you will need to take out the Crystal Joe but wait
before crossing the pit. Crystals now fall from the ceiling so you will need to
cross the pits carefully if you miss and get hit with a falling crystal it is a
trip down to the pit. Next room has
Eddie he will give you an item fall down and take out the split enemy. Now it
is time to make the next jumps carefully it is a repeat of the falling crystal
room. Fall down the next ladder and run like crazy the ceiling will start to
collapse on you and the floor rises up too. You will get to a large space as
soon as the floor rises up jump quickly or you will be crushed and climb the
ladder. Head up the ladder jump on the track enemy to make it across the spikes
(you may have to shoot him to get him in the center needed to make the
jump). Fall down the next shaft and
avoid the spikes. Now the next room you
will need to wait till the floor rises jump, because the ceiling will be coming
down, jump and repeat. Fall down the shaft after taking out the Crystal Joe and
run quickly run because the floor and ceiling will be falling or collapsing
again. Make the next fall hang a right to avoid the spikes. Crystal man
(Difficulty rating 7/10
)
okay this guy can be a problem. The screen is small he
likes to jump and fire his crystal weapon. The Crystal weapon will bounce off
walls so you will need to dodge. He can also shoot regular bullets at you. When
he lands you can hit him with his weakness charge kick but it might be better
to charge a buster shot and fire. This stage was very hard you have the jumps,
the spikes, the falling floors as well as Crystal Man himself.

Wily Tank Ballade
(difficulty rating 10/10)If you
collected all the letters you skip the first half of this stage. You will
notice a magnet mine shoot it to turn its magnet power off and proceed. Now for
Ballade oh is it time for pain Ballade has undergone some enhancements. Ballade
is quicker and faster, his Ballade Crackers are more powerful, he also can jump
better and just run right into you. It is best to use charge shots and try to
avoid his Ballade Crackers. You may need a few Energy Tanks with this battle. Eventually
he will retreat but he leaves you with Ballade Cracker. Now it is time to move
quickly because the tank is going to blow up. Take out the missiles and move
quickly. Use Ballade Cracker to take them out quicker and open a path. So yeah
Ballade is very difficult he often gives me problems and the stage after is
tricky because the tank is blowing up and you got to make sure you get out in
time.

Cut scene:

After the Tank Blows up Wily escapes into his space station he had built. Dr.
Light modifies Rush so Mega Man can stop Dr. Wily’s space fortress. You will
get a chance to buy a few last items so if you had to use Energy Tanks stock up
on them.

Wily stage I
(difficulty 6/10) there really isn't
much here to start the stage off. They are just some missiles and a Giant Met
Cannon. The next part just has an enemy that just wants to slam down on you
better just to ignore it. Take out the next giant met cannon avoid the missiles
and that is pretty much the first part. The first boss is the orbiter you
thought at the halfway mark of this game. It has gotten a few more attacks so
it requires more dodging but nothing too hard. After taking out the orbital satellite
you will drop down to a bunch of pits. I recommend using flash stopper here
because missiles will be popping up from the pits and the ceiling is very low.
After that climb up the ladder. The next room you will need to take out the
tiger that is there you will notice a long area with spikes on the floor. To
get across you will need to use Rush Jet and when you get across take out the
bomb enemy. Fall down and the first room
just has a robot hen, the next room after falling down from the previous room
has a Crystal Joe. The next room just has the slam enemy that was trying to
land on you in the start of this stage. Take it out with Ballade Crackers or
Charge Kick either one works. Fall down another shaft and jump to the next
platforms if you are afraid you can’t make it use Rush Jet. Also be aware of
Crystal Joe’s, shield enemies and missiles. The Next boss I kid you not is a
ball that can split apart. As you damage the ball it will move faster. Just
shoot it with charged shots to take it out. The next room after the ball fight
just has copter Joes in it and missiles coming up from the ground. Heading up
the ladder you will find a robot hen and a split enemy from Crystal Man’s stage
just take them out. To get across the spikes use Rush Jet. After falling down the shaft the first room just has a copter Joe so just deal with him the next room you land and a
platform and you have to deal with mummies. Just deal with more mummies and it
is to the gate. The ball like enemy is back accept this time it tries to cause
trickery by changing the layout of the room. Still just deal with it like you
did before and it will go down. The next room just has copter Joes, shields and
missiles to dodge as well as robot tigers to deal with. Fall down the next
shaft and you will notice that the walls look funny use charge kick. The secret
passage is a visit from Proto Man he will give you a special item to help you.
Also in the Proto Man room you will need to use Rush Jet to get to him. Head
down avoid the slammer enemy and that concludes stage one. This stage was not too bad the thing that
makes it difficult is the enemy placement and the jumps.

Wily Stage 2
(difficulty 10/10) this is just a rematch with the 8 robot masters just deal
with them like you did before nothing new here.

Wily Stage 3 
(difficulty 10/10) meet this games wily machine. For the first part you will
notice a flashing core to damage the first part you need to hit that. Beware of
the machines fists that will come from the side. You can jump on the fists to
jump and fire at the core. Power Stone will also hit the core if you stand in
the center. Second part now for a real battle. Okay the head will move toward
you to try to smash you against the wall to prevent this just use the regular
shooter to push it back. When the head opens its mouth that is when you hit with
a charged buster or use Ballade Cracker on him. Also dodge the sparks that the
rod at the top will be hurling toward you. The third part Wily will attack from his
saucer. He will drop bombs that destroy the floor what you want to do is stay
head and aim Ballade Crackers up to hit Wily. These fights with Wily can be
very hard so be sure to save plenty of Energy Tanks you will need them.

Ending-the
ending of this game goes like this. Dr. Wily activates the self-destruct of his
space fortress. Wily escapes as he is activating the self-destruct mode. Mega
Man tries to get out of the space station before it blows when suddenly he is
trapped. Ballade teleports in Mega Man tells him to stop as Ballade is injured.
Ballade tells Mega Man that he was wrong and that he was sorry. He tells Mega
Man that by sacrificing himself to allow Mega Man to escape was all he could do
as an act of repentance. Ballade self-destructs Mega Man escapes and returns to
Earth as the fortress blows up then the credits roll.

Conclusion: I hope my guide helps you with mastering this game. I really liked this game it is one of my favorites. I hope you have fun playing this game. Blessings

like the stage repeating itself deal with that like you did before. Eventually
you will fight the ring Minnie boss again. The next area is just another long
ladder to climb with the same old enemies to deal with. Ring Man (difficulty 5/10) Ring Man can be a problem. Ring Man is
fast and will try to spam you with his ring weapon. For a quick win use Pharaoh
shot to quickly win. If you are using buster shots just dodge and fire you he
will eventually go down. This stage was difficult because of the ladders and
dodging the cannons. Not to mention this stage was real long. Ring Man does
have a pattern so if you can pick up on it, he isn't too bad but can still
cause trouble

Wily Tank (First Ballade Encounterdifficulty 7/10) The
boss is just an orbital circle just dodge its attacks and fire with a buster
shot to take it down. Once inside you will need to clear a way shooting the
missiles. Now onto the Ballade fight, ugh Ballade is fast and his Ballade
Crackers pack a punch. He is not too bad in this battle as he isn't as fast
he will become. Still he can be a problem so bring an E-tank here to be safe. Ballade is what drives the difficulty up

Napalm Man Stage (difficulty 7/10) The stage opens the shaft up fall down
then head down a ladder. You will notice a tiger is guarding the passage, which
happens to be the correct path. So take out the tiger robot and proceed. See
the ladder with fire underneath it. Use Rain flush to put out the fire
temporally then climb up the ladder. The top ladder has Proto Man in it to hand
you an item. Put out the fire again and head down the ladder you will see a met
cannon at the bottom just take it out. Now you will find a large pit you can’t
jump it so what do you do? The drills can be used as a platform, but do not
touch the drill spikes as that is instant death. Just take a ride on the drill
and get to the other side. Now you have drills coming toward you just duck into
the dips they give you too till they pass and proceed. After jumping on more
drills you climb a ladder with a met cannon just take it out and climb the next
ladder. The next room has missiles take them out and watch out for their parts.
Next take out the tiger tank leap before crossing the pit, the reason being it
tricks the missile into coming out of the pit before you jump. The next room
you will notice a platform on top but it is surrounded by fire. Get up there
put out the fire temporally with rain flush, jump on the next platform, get the
letter I, but hurry because the fire comes back. Now for a tricky part after
falling through the shaft move very quickly avoid the missiles because the
floor is going to cave in on you so move it.
Next you head up use the drill as a platform climb the ladder. Napalm Man (difficulty 7/10) Napalm Man is a problem he is in a small area so you can’t dodge him like you could in Mega Man 5. His bombs also pack a punch. I have found it best when he lands
from jumping fire with a charged shot. Crystal Eye is his weakness but sometimes it is just best to use the buster. He is also bad about cornering you
when you think he is going to land slide and fire. This stage was hectic lots
of explosions, drills with death spikes and then there was the boss himself.
This stage was difficult to say the least.

Stone Man stage (difficulty 6/10) now for a long stage. The first stage has met shoot it
and it splits into 3 parts. There is also a mine on the floor as well so take
it out. As you head right you will see a
pipe platform jump on it and it rotates to the other side remember this. Fall
down the shaft make your away across the platforms that fall and take out the
rock enemy. Head over some more
platforms take out another rock enemy and fall down to the next room. The next
room has a hippo on blocks. Shoot the blocks to bring him down and fire or use
flash stopper on him and shoot him either way works. After that jump over the
pits and take out the shield enemies as well the oyster enemy (these behave
like bubble bats from earlier games) and the mets then just climb the ladder.
Climb the next ladder jump across the spikes to the next ladder. Then you face
the hippo again just deal with him like you did before. The path splits the top one requires you to
have Rush Jet (all that is up there is an Energy Tank). If you do not have Rush
Jet then go down the other way take out the mines as well and proceed
downward. The next room just has the
falling blocks and a few shield weapons. If you go down the next shaft you will
find you can get an E-tank but to get it use Rush Coil then head down again.
The next phase just has rooms with mines, pits and shield attacks. Before you
fall down the next shaft you will see the letter L hang a right to get it and
then continue to fall down but hang another right or its death spikes you fall
down on. Stone Man (difficulty 5/10) here is the problem he likes to jump and can land on you doing lots of damage.
The room is also small which makes this fight harder. However he is week to
Napalm Bombs so hit them with it or you can just charge the buster. This stage
was long and you can get hit a lot or fall into pits if you are not careful.
Stone man is tricky because of how he jumps.

Charge Man Stage (difficulty 3/10) to start the stage just climb the ladder you will be
taken to the top of the train. Now what you want to do is take out the train
mets a charged shot will do the trick. There is also air enemies that drop
bombs on you so watch out for them and they are death spikes so jump over them.
Then fall down to inside the train. The next room has bomb enemies, oyster
enemies, and a robot hen to deal with them just take them out nothing to hard. Then
you climb a ladder and see a repeat of the room before on top of the train.
Head back down and you meet the same enemies. The only new enemy is a mouse
enemy a charged shot takes it out. Then it is back to on top of the train again
with the same met enemies and bomb enemies. Now take out the robot hen and
climb the ladder and its back on top of the train same enemies as before. Head
down the ladder and notice a path to the right, use Rush Coil, to get up there
and get your E-tank. Slide under and
then you will see the Letter Y jump up and get it or use Rush Coil to get it.
The next rooms just have robot hens deal with them as you did before. Charge
Man (difficulty 5/10
) ugh this guy can be a problem. He is hard to jump over
but he also can turn invincible when he is firing coal up. Charge Man is weak
to power stone so use that if you can hit him with it, or just use charge
shots. Charge Man leaves himself open for attacks before charging so use that
to your advantage. This stage was pretty easy nothing to hard just a few
enemies and spikes to deal with. Charge Man himself can be another story.

Crystal Man
Stage (difficulty 10/10) okay now for the hardest stage in this entire game be prepared to lose a few lives on this one. First make a right you will see a track enemy
shoot it to make it move and get a piece of an e-tank. Head up the ladder and take out the Crystal Joe
(remember he can only be attacked after he fires his crystal so remember that).
Nothing in the next room accept some air bomb enemies. Now here is where the
game starts getting difficult. You will fall down a platform but the path has
spikes. Jump over the spikes if you’re not sure use Rush Coil. The next enemy
you want to shoot the top part to take it out. Cross over more platforms and
then take out more of the split enemies as before (aim for the top part). Head down the ladder and you will notice a
Crystal Joe is guarding a secret passage blast him, go through that and get the
last letter it’s the letter W. Now all the letters spell BEAT WILY. Head down
the ladder and then take out the mine sweeper enemy go across more platforms
and climb the ladder. Take out the Crystal Joe and continue to climb up.
Proceed to the right and you notice you have falling platforms and mind
sweepers take out the sweepers. Jump onto the next platform it will fall but
get it to where you can slide out to the next room (this is tricky to pull off
if you miss you land on death spikes). Now the Path splits up the top path is a
repeat of everything up until now. If you do down the lower path. You will need
to work the falling platform down were you can make another tricky jump. Head
down the next ladder. Now you will need to take out the Crystal Joe but wait
before crossing the pit. Crystals now fall from the ceiling so you will need to
cross the pits carefully if you miss and get hit with a falling crystal it is a
trip down to the pit. Next room has
Eddie he will give you an item fall down and take out the split enemy. Now it
is time to make the next jumps carefully it is a repeat of the falling crystal
room. Fall down the next ladder and run like crazy the ceiling will start to
collapse on you and the floor rises up too. You will get to a large space as
soon as the floor rises up jump quickly or you will be crushed and climb the
ladder. Head up the ladder jump on the track enemy to make it across the spikes
(you may have to shoot him to get him in the center needed to make the
jump). Fall down the next shaft and
avoid the spikes. Now the next room you
will need to wait till the floor rises jump, because the ceiling will be coming
down, jump and repeat. Fall down the shaft after taking out the Crystal Joe and
run quickly run because the floor and ceiling will be falling or collapsing
again. Make the next fall hang a right to avoid the spikes. Crystal man
(Difficulty rating 7/10
)
okay this guy can be a problem. The screen is small he
likes to jump and fire his crystal weapon. The Crystal weapon will bounce off
walls so you will need to dodge. He can also shoot regular bullets at you. When
he lands you can hit him with his weakness charge kick but it might be better
to charge a buster shot and fire. This stage was very hard you have the jumps,
the spikes, the falling floors as well as Crystal Man himself.

Wily Tank Ballade
(difficulty rating 10/10)If you
collected all the letters you skip the first half of this stage. You will
notice a magnet mine shoot it to turn its magnet power off and proceed. Now for
Ballade oh is it time for pain Ballade has undergone some enhancements. Ballade
is quicker and faster, his Ballade Crackers are more powerful, he also can jump
better and just run right into you. It is best to use charge shots and try to
avoid his Ballade Crackers. You may need a few Energy Tanks with this battle. Eventually
he will retreat but he leaves you with Ballade Cracker. Now it is time to move
quickly because the tank is going to blow up. Take out the missiles and move
quickly. Use Ballade Cracker to take them out quicker and open a path. So yeah
Ballade is very difficult he often gives me problems and the stage after is
tricky because the tank is blowing up and you got to make sure you get out in
time.

Cut scene:

After the Tank Blows up Wily escapes into his space station he had built. Dr.
Light modifies Rush so Mega Man can stop Dr. Wily’s space fortress. You will
get a chance to buy a few last items so if you had to use Energy Tanks stock up
on them.

Wily stage I
(difficulty 6/10) there really isn't
much here to start the stage off. They are just some missiles and a Giant Met
Cannon. The next part just has an enemy that just wants to slam down on you
better just to ignore it. Take out the next giant met cannon avoid the missiles
and that is pretty much the first part. The first boss is the orbiter you
thought at the halfway mark of this game. It has gotten a few more attacks so
it requires more dodging but nothing too hard. After taking out the orbital satellite
you will drop down to a bunch of pits. I recommend using flash stopper here
because missiles will be popping up from the pits and the ceiling is very low.
After that climb up the ladder. The next room you will need to take out the
tiger that is there you will notice a long area with spikes on the floor. To
get across you will need to use Rush Jet and when you get across take out the
bomb enemy. Fall down and the first room
just has a robot hen, the next room after falling down from the previous room
has a Crystal Joe. The next room just has the slam enemy that was trying to
land on you in the start of this stage. Take it out with Ballade Crackers or
Charge Kick either one works. Fall down another shaft and jump to the next
platforms if you are afraid you can’t make it use Rush Jet. Also be aware of
Crystal Joe’s, shield enemies and missiles. The Next boss I kid you not is a
ball that can split apart. As you damage the ball it will move faster. Just
shoot it with charged shots to take it out. The next room after the ball fight
just has copter Joes in it and missiles coming up from the ground. Heading up
the ladder you will find a robot hen and a split enemy from Crystal Man’s stage
just take them out. To get across the spikes use Rush Jet. After falling down the shaft the first room just has a copter Joe so just deal with him the next room you land and a
platform and you have to deal with mummies. Just deal with more mummies and it
is to the gate. The ball like enemy is back accept this time it tries to cause
trickery by changing the layout of the room. Still just deal with it like you
did before and it will go down. The next room just has copter Joes, shields and
missiles to dodge as well as robot tigers to deal with. Fall down the next
shaft and you will notice that the walls look funny use charge kick. The secret
passage is a visit from Proto Man he will give you a special item to help you.
Also in the Proto Man room you will need to use Rush Jet to get to him. Head
down avoid the slammer enemy and that concludes stage one. This stage was not too bad the thing that
makes it difficult is the enemy placement and the jumps.

Wily Stage 2
(difficulty 10/10) this is just a rematch with the 8 robot masters just deal
with them like you did before nothing new here.

Wily Stage 3 
(difficulty 10/10) meet this games wily machine. For the first part you will
notice a flashing core to damage the first part you need to hit that. Beware of
the machines fists that will come from the side. You can jump on the fists to
jump and fire at the core. Power Stone will also hit the core if you stand in
the center. Second part now for a real battle. Okay the head will move toward
you to try to smash you against the wall to prevent this just use the regular
shooter to push it back. When the head opens its mouth that is when you hit with
a charged buster or use Ballade Cracker on him. Also dodge the sparks that the
rod at the top will be hurling toward you. The third part Wily will attack from his
saucer. He will drop bombs that destroy the floor what you want to do is stay
head and aim Ballade Crackers up to hit Wily. These fights with Wily can be
very hard so be sure to save plenty of Energy Tanks you will need them.

Ending-the
ending of this game goes like this. Dr. Wily activates the self-destruct of his
space fortress. Wily escapes as he is activating the self-destruct mode. Mega
Man tries to get out of the space station before it blows when suddenly he is
trapped. Ballade teleports in Mega Man tells him to stop as Ballade is injured.
Ballade tells Mega Man that he was wrong and that he was sorry. He tells Mega
Man that by sacrificing himself to allow Mega Man to escape was all he could do
as an act of repentance. Ballade self-destructs Mega Man escapes and returns to
Earth as the fortress blows up then the credits roll.
