I got on to my laptop today and accessed google chrome. Then it went to a weird whole different tab sort of thing and accessed it but with a smaller screen and not on my desktop. I am annoyed with the smaller screen and the fact I can only run games on my desktop. Does anybody know a solution?

You might downloaded some software with advertisments that get installed in your browser. This addon canbe uninstalled in Control panel Add/remove programs. If you can't find the program try looking at Chrome's addon section.

awesomeguy279 : It sounds like you downloaded some sort of adware/spyware or some sort of browser addon.

A lot of times with free programs, when you download them, it asks you if you want to download this other totally unrelated software (Like when you install adobe flash and it asks you if you want to download some Mcafee scanner)

Sometimes programs really hide the spot where you tell them you don't want the other program. Just make sure to really pay attention when you download that kind of software (If you do)

The advice given above should help either by seeing if you installed some sort of addon, see if only your homepage was changed or just to reset back to factory defaults.

Please feel free to PM me if you have further questions regarding this issue.
