Just a simple thread where you state what your favorite Pokemon Generation is and why. Personally, mine is the first generation and it always will be because that is what I started with. I just fell in love with all the Pokemon, and the entire series.

Good question man, I think the first, second and third generations are my favorite because of the awesome starters and the great pokemon in each one. Not to say that 4th and 5th gen were utterly horrible, but by then, they started losing creativity and started making pokemon out of everyday objects like an ice cream sundae, a sword or a pile or trash, and I think it is just going to get more weird as it continues to go on. But that is just my opinion on the matter. Good question by the way, i bet a lot of people feel the same way about the first gen because it is pretty awesome!

I also like all generations, Not to mention the first one.
But my all favorite is the 4th for now, because I have so many good memories of Pokémon platinum!

I like the 6th generation because it has great starters in my opinion. I think the starter are so great because they evolve in to fighting/dark  and psychic . They also have some really good pokemon like Aegislash. 
 
 I just love the 6th generation for the new graphics they added to the games and how long the game takes to beat.
 
 There is a down side which is there being almost no post game whatsoever and the champion in my opinion is way to easy to beat. I beat her with my first pokemon.
