So new information has been released concerning the upcoming Fall 2014 TV series (And as now known, its accompanying Sega game), Sonic Boom.




If my understanding is correct, this is actually canon... in its own way. Its sort its own canon to the series, like... an alternate universe. Think of it as one of the parallel worlds Sonic might turn into somewhere along the Cosmic Highway if you're familiar with the Archie comic series.  On a personal level I'm okay with this as long as the canons don't bleed together.

There's been a lot of talk concerning the story, character designs, etc. A lot of talk has been positive, a lot of talk has been negative. Your thoughts, Vizzed members?

My personal thoughts? ... I wanna see how this turns out. I'm liking Sonic's quirky, kinda rude attitude. I'm honestly digging the new character designs, and thanking God they did something cool with Amy's design and threw out that red hoop dress. I'm liking the setting. I'm liking the basic premise. Its different, but acceptably so.

My biggest pet peeves? ... only two. One of my peeves I share with many others: Knuckles looks like he's on steroids or something. I mean, seeing him past that silhouette they WERE showing as a teaser screen he looks better than I thought he would, but... still looks wonky. My other pet peeve? ... they're still using the name Eggman. There's been controversy over it, but... Robotnik is what I grew up with, it sounds better, and honestly sounds more threatening and villainous than 'Eggman'. But that's all just my humble opinion. I'd like to hear yours.

Seems really interesting. But one thing I don't get is, why are Sonic's arms blue? Aren't they supposed to be a light brown, like his nuzzle and his stomach?
