Pokémon snap, Is a pretty bland game at first, But It gets better if you try to beat the game in multiple ways. Cruddy games are cruddy, but fun. And by that, I mean they're pretty cruddy and then it gets better in the middle. Like, If you judge a game by it's cover, You won't like it. I've done that before. I regret it. You should always look into a game before you judge it. Which is why I a reviewing this game. I've pretty much seen what it has to offer, And now I'm ready to tell YOU what it is, And what I think about it. Hope you enjoy the review.

Graphics:8. Although I despise it, The Pokémon graphics look fairly good. Their not as good as other games for the N64, But at least it's not like every other Pokémon game on the earth. This game is, Kinda cute. the Pokémon are fluffy and cute, Like most games I like.

How the Pokémon react to you throwing things at them, and when you roll by, It looks really good. Maybe a bit funny when an electrode explodes and makes another Pokémon faint. The way the scenery blends in with the Pokémon, Rocks, trees, the ocean, It all comes together with the Pokémon. Digital wildlife. It's like going on some sort of safari hunt through caves, and clouds in the sky. It may seem a bit bizarre, But it really works.

A lot of the graphics are very well done. They're not all pointy or blocky. Instead of rough sandpaper, It's like really smooth yogurt. Pure and white, easy to look at. The sky is very clear on the beach, Pidgeys, Sunshine, And a beautiful ocean. Crisp and clear. I'm pretty impressed with these graphics. 8/10.

Sound:6. These sounds are kinda good. Some of the sounds don't fit the animations. Such as when you throw some poke food. Doesn't fit. Although the waterfall sounds nice and clean. Roaring and stuff. Other than that, The Pokémon cries aren't really present. I assume the game is more built to resemble the anime. If so, Then they did a good job.

I would also like to point out, That the explosion sounds of electrode doesn't sound like exploding sounds really. It seems to me that they used the self destruct sound effect from Pokémon stadium. A lot of the things seem like most things in this game they took from Pokémon stadium. But, that's okay. At least SOME things are new. The sound is okay, but it lacks originality. 6/10

Music:9. The music in this game reminds me a lot of the music in other games, But it's unique enough that its not like hearing the same thing in 2 different videogames.

The pokeflute is an interesting music thing. It has different things, such as peppy music that's extremely bouncy. They also have happy music, Full of those cute rays I was always talking about, and they have sleepy time stuff. Relaxing, Easy to listen to.

The valley sounds like some music in Banjo-Tooie. I enjoy the song because it has interesting flutey sounds. And if I recall, Some horns. And I LOVE horns in video game music.

One of my other favorites is the cavern. The music has a certain suspense feel to it. Like, Not like bone chilling scary stuff, But it makes you wonder whats ahead. Curiosity. It releases certain emotions in the music. It could make you happy, or sad. Even if you're not a feely type of person, It could make you a bit emotional.

The effect of the emotion releasing music makes me think highly of it. 9/10.

Addictiveness:6. This game isn't very addictive. You speed run it in like, 2 hours, and then you get bored and go outside and slide downhill on a cardboard box. Or pick up sticks. You'll seriously get bored with this one if you're looking for a game full of interesting and exciting things to make you want to play it for a while. But then You'll want to play it again to see if you can speed run it faster, Or too see if you can do it with one hand, Or beat it every day for a month. I myself haven't tried either, But I plan on doing it after I'm done with this review. Overall, it can get boring, But you get over it and see the fun inside it. 2/10

Story:1. Eurgh.... There's practically no story here. You're some sort of student, And you're supposed to complete a photo album. And you take pictures of Pokémon, eventually take pictures of things that aren't Pokémon that look like Pokémon, to go up into a pretty shiny cloud. To take a picture of mew. That's it. Pure boringness.... 1/10.

Depth:3. Practically nothing. Just take pictures of all of the Pokémon from the first generation. Pictures, Pictures, And more pictures. After that, You're done. Unless you want to either do it again, Or find all of the special pictures. If there was more things to do in this game, Like I don't know.... more courses? More Pokémon? Maybe a two player mode to see who can get better pictures for more points. Or some sort of co-op snapathon? Or maybe if they converted the camera to some sort of high power laser gun to shoot at targets on a high speed track. That would be cool. 3/10.

Difficulty:1. Games too easy. You can speed run it in 2 hours or less. Honestly, One of the easiest games I've ever played. There's probably ways to make it harder, Like if you could make the track move faster, Or for some Pokémon to go visible and invisible back and forth, Or maybe if they made it to where Pokémon chased you and you would have to throw things at it to make them run away. Make it harder gamefreak! 1/10

Overall:6. Although this game is fun, It's easy, And there's not really anything to do. That's why I think it's one of the most boring, and overrated games I have ever played. Although I have 2 copies of it. I suppose for it's tie it was good. Maybe I'm looking at the game from the wrong view... I dunno.

Well, I'm done with the review. Hope you enjoyed it. It's rather short, But there's not a lot of things I could say about the game.
