Mega Man has teamed up with his Rival Bass to take down a common enemy.

Overall: 9.6
I really liked this game the first time I played it. It is a very solid game as the player can play as Bass or Mega Man. The graphics are nicely done and so is the sound. This game is also very fun to play even though It will make you want to pull your hair out at times. Mega Man and Bass has a lot to offer. This was one of the final Super Nintendo Games to be released. However, this title was not released into the USA. It would not be released in America until Capcom did a remake of it for the Game Boy Advanced. The first time I played this game was when I first joined Vizzed and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend playing it.

Graphics: 10
Mega Man and Bass's graphics really shine. Capcom took graphics from Mega Man 8 and reused them for this game. That is remarkable considering that this is a 16 bit game. The graphics really look like graphics you would see in a play station game. How the snow falls in Cold man's stage is a nice touch. The forest stage which is Burner Man's stage is very nicely done. It reminds me of Search Man's stage from Mega Man 8, which they reused for this game. Also how Bass's buster shots really glow is nicely done. When I first learned that Capcom had used graphics from Mega Man 8 I did not know what to expect because this is a 16 bit game using play station graphics. I was astonished on how well Capcom made the graphics work. The Characters sprints are also very nicely done. Mega Man and Bass really shines on graphics. The controls do not feel sluggish at all and the game does not lag.

Sound: 10?
The sound of this game is very good. Lot of the boss stages have memorable tunes. Cold man's stage fits the stage's ice theme nicely. Burner Man's stage is relaxing. Pirate Man and Tengu Man music has good music as well. There is not one bad song in this game. How the Characters sound is also very good. Mega Man's buster sound, lets the player know that his buster shot can do a lot of damage. Bass's buster sound is more like a machine gun. The enemies sounds are nice too. I would say this game ranks up there with Mega Man 7 on having a very good sound and music track

Addictveness:9?
I really like to play this game again and again. Being able to play as Mega Man and Bass makes this game addicting. It is fun to replay the game with a different character. The only thing that might scare a few players from replaying this game is the difficulty. However, do not let that scare you. This is a great game and has a lot of depth.

Story: 9
The plot is actually good in this game. From the intro of the game we learn that Mega Man and Bass have to join forces to defeat the new robot King. King plans on taking over the world with his new robot army. King stole a lot of CD data on old robot masters. I liked how Capcom got creative. No were in the intro does the game hint that Wily is around. It seems like Capcom learned from Mega Man 6 were it was obvious Wily was the bad guy all along. It is also nice how Capcom created the story of how Mega Man teams up with Bass. If anybody has played Mega Man 7 or Mega Man 8 they know how it is unlikely these two rivals would join forces. So the story is nicely done compared to other Mega Man games.

Depth: 10
Mega Man and Bass really shines on depth. There is a lot of depth in this game. The CD collection quest is what bumps up the rating . To get all 100 CD's the player needs to play the game through as Mega Man and then Bass. Some CD's Mega Man cannot get and some Bass cannot get. The developers of this game made sure each character got used for one to get all items. They are also bolts and several power ups to buy at the store. The store sells items like Mega Man IV, Mega Man V and Mega Man 7 did with bolts as the currency (Note: Mega Man IV and V used p-chips as currency). So this game will require the player to play through the game twice in order to get everything. This game takes a very long time to beat

Difficulty: 10
Mega Man games are known to be difficult. This one takes it beyond difficult. They are several bosses and traps that wants to make you pull your hair out. It is so easy to fall into a trap the way the stages are setup. The stages also throw just about every enemy you can imagine at the player. Several bosses are very difficult and require skill to beat even with their weakness. For example, Burner Man, Pirate Man, Tengu Man, Astro Man, and Dynamo Man are very hard to beat. The player will need to get all the power ups and a little bit of luck to beat these robot masters. When I played this game a lot of times when I reached the end of stages I would only have 1 life left. It is so easy to get knocked into pits are lose energy quickly. It seems like multiple enemies are attacking you at once. Another thing that adds difficulty is the special weapons use a lot of ammo so it requires creativity in order to use them. Of all the Mega Man games I have played this ranks up there with Mega Man one as the most difficult. I would also say this game is even more difficult than some of the X series games. Still, do not let the difficulty stop you from enjoying this great game that is sometimes overlooked .

That review was pretty good. I think that you could have explained a little more, for those that don't know what the game is about, but that is the only complaint I have. Nicely done.
