I love the Mega Man X series for Super Nintendo. Mega Man X3 is second favorite one only behind Mega Man X2. 

Overall: 10
Mega Man X3 was a great game it was one of the last game hits for the Super Nintendo. It was nicely done. Everything a great game this game has. Mega Man X3 also started were the player could play as Zero. In the previous two Mega Man X games the player could not play as Zero. So this game set the tone for future X games were the players could play as Zero. 

Graphics: 9
The graphics were very good. Capcom used a C4 chip in this game just like they did in Mega Man X2 and it showed. The background of the maverick stages are nicely done. Blizzard Buffalo's background is very nice as it takes place in a winter wonderland. How the electricity sparks in the background of Volt Catfish's state is a nice touch. Neon Tiger's jungle stage is nicely done with the orange sunset in the background. The colors of the bosses and stages are also nice. The only drawback might be that the graphics did not improve over X2

Music: 8
The Music in this game rocked. Blizzard Buffalo's stage theme is one of the best in the game. Neon Tigers music is also very good. A lot of the stage themes are memorable. The only thing is a few of the stage themes sometimes lean more toward hard rock. But overall X3 had some solid tunes.

Plot: 9
 Mega Man X3's plot was very nicely done. This is the first game were Sigma is using somebody else to do his bidding. However, the plot is done so well that first time players do not know its Sigma really pulling the strings. The mavericks have calmed down due to a Replied Scientists Doppler, when suddenly mavericks start showing up left and right due to a virus going around . Mega Man X and Zero must get to the bottom of the virus. When I first played this game I thought the X series was getting a new bad guy. As the game went along it turned out Sigma was the true bad guy. I think that makes a good plot. 

Replay Value: 10
This is one of my favorite X games and for good reason the game is just that good. I often play this game over and over again. Being able to play as Zero really bumps up the replay value of this game. The music also ads replay value. The weapons are very good and so are the graphics. I have fun playing this game over and over again. Also they are 4 enhanced upgrades but you can only get one upgrade unless you get the golden armor. I have fun playing the game with a different upgrade. There are a lot of surprises in this game which makes it great. 

Difficulty: 8 
First time players may find this game difficult but the controls are easy to learn. However some of the bosses are very hard and require a lot of skill to defeat. The Doppler stages can be a nightmare. What really bumps up he difficulty is the Sigma battle. Sigma has a very small hit box. The only reason I did not get a difficulty rating of 10 is because a few of the bosses are easy to figure out their AI pattern.
