Pokemon Ash Gray had been the first hacked Pokemon game that I have ever played and I find that the game is amazing. This game is a whole new twist on the original Pokemon trainer games by allowing you to play as Ash as he embarks on his journey to become a Pokemon master. The game follows the journey portrayed in the anime precisely and because of this, allows players to amass countless hours playing the hit Pokemon games from a brand new perspective.
First, let's go over the graphics of the game. For the graphics, I give it a perfect 10 out of 10 because the people who made this game had done an amazing job piecing together tile after tile. The graphics are beautiful and virtually every building and monument in the game is remastered. For example, look at the Pokemon Center. The Center had gone from a very simple design in the old games to a masterful building that is much bigger, and even though the design look more pixelated around the edges, the design, shape, and decorations of the Center are very creative.
As for the sound, I give a 9 out of 10. The music is basically the same as all the other games, but if it were going to be much different, it wouldn't really count as Pokemon music and the overall feel of the game would have decreased. Every Pokemon game needs music as a way to satisfy the craves of a gamer and guess what? This game delivers.
As for Addictiveness, I give this game a 10 out of 10. Who wouldn't want to play a brand new story as Ash that is based on the anime? I would love to and I am pretty sure that many others would find this entertaining and that they would waste away hours of their lives. Taking a game that's already addicting and adding so many new features to enhance the gameplay makes the game even more addicting.
As for the Story, I also give this aspect a 10 out of 10. As mentioned many times before, the game follows all the events that happen to Ash during the anime and just that alone is enough to classify the story as great.
I also give a 10 out of 10 to the depth of the game. This is because of all the events that take place in the game. There are over 100 individual events that you must endure during your quest to become a Pokemon Master and each of them prove to be vital in the appearance and popularity of the game.
As for the Difficulty, the game is not really that hard, especially if you have played other Pokemon games before. Even if you have never played a Pokemon game before, a simple hour or so of playing will get you accustomed. The game is not meant to be challenging, but is meant to be an entertaining and fun new spin on our favorite game franchise. For the Difficulty, I give it a 7 out of 10.
Overall, my final score for this game is a 9.8. The game is amazing in virtually every aspect. I highly recommend playing this game because you will not regret it and you will recommend this game to others saying the exact same things about the game.
