NintendoFanKimmy:
Legend in the Making Chapter Sixteen: The Element Bending Tournament
The digital alarm
clock in NintendoFanKimmy’s hotel room did its job when it was supposed to,
sending the girl tumbling off her bed. “Ouch,” she groaned, rubbing her scruffy
hair. Then, she readjusted her belt and put on her shoes. “Time for my first
lesson… Not that I need it, anyway. I mean, I am the second Avatar, aren’t I?”
Then, Kimmy pushed the thought aside and walked through the door. She stretched
out her arms and yawned. “This is going to be a very long day.”
NintendoFanKimmy arrived at the training dojo and was greeted with a friendly
smile from her trainer. “Welcome, Kimmy! I knew you wouldn’t forget!” he lied.
Then, Kimmy bowed. “Hello, Master.” Then, the trainer chuckled. “It is I who
should be bowing to you, child. You are the second Avatar, after all. But we’ll
have none of this bowing business. We’re just friends now. Not master and
servant. Come this way, please.” Then, Kimmy followed her trainer into the dojo
and out the back door into the courtyard. She was surprised to find a large
fighting ring in the center of the field. “Uh…” she began. “What’s that
fighting ring for?” Then, her master turned to her. “It’s for an upcoming event
taking place in this very training school.” NintendoFanKimmy was still clueless.
“What event did you have in mind, sir?” Then, the trainer smiled. “A
breathtaking one I’m sure you’ll find thrilling! It’s called the element
bending tournament! I’m guessing you know what it’s about.” Kimmy nodded.
“Yeah, I think I do. If my common sense isn’t failing me, and if I am correct,
I would say it’s to test our bending capabilities, right? Through attacking
selected targets?” Then, the trainer nodded. “Yes, it is designed to allow our
fellow students to test their limits and see what they can do. But it will not
be done through targets. It will be through combat between students. It is a
tournament after all.” Kimmy’s eyes widened. “But couldn’t someone get hurt?
Or, even worse, killed?” Then, the old man chuckled once again. “Don’t worry,
Kimmy. The fights will definitely not be to the death. There will be limits.”
Then, NintendoFanKimmy decided to walk to a slightly less crowded section of
the vast field to grab a couple of peers to train with. She saw DenzGamer125
and the water-bending girl she had been ignored by on her first day. “Hey,
Denz,” she said quietly. She said so after he snapped out the flame in his
right palm; she didn’t want to startle him like she had the first time they
met. “Hi, Kim. This is Liz here. We’re training for the upcoming tournament. Do
you want to join us?” Kimmy smiled. “You bet I do!” So, the three benders
knocked the socks off of each other with astounding elemental tricks for the
rest of the afternoon, and they were all astounding. However, NintendoFanKimmy
was in the overall lead. “No fair!” exclaimed Elizabeth. “You’re the second
Avatar!” But then, NintendoFanKimmy calmed her down. “Don’t worry, Liz, I’m
still not that experienced. That’s why I am coming here, after all.” Then, the
three students continued to train mildly against each other until it was nearly
dusk, and the sun was just on the verge of disappearing over the horizon. Then,
the trainer walked out from his teatime in the building and clapped his hands. “Alright,
children. Training is officially over for today. Go home now; next class begins
tomorrow at dawn. Run along. The tournament is scheduled to take place this Saturday.
Have fun!” Then, the loud bell rung, and all the students rushed out the front
steps of the campus. “Whew,” sighed Kimmy in relief, wiping the continuously
dripping sweat from her forehead. “I sure feel more confident in my bending
now.” Then, she ran back up the stairs of the hotel; the elevators were crammed
with French chefs holding seafood platters and wonderfully-fragranced goods.
Kimmy tried not to think about it too much even though her empty stomach
growled. Then, she anxiously fumbled with her card key and unlocked the door.
Then, she slammed the wooden door shut. NintendoFanKimmy let out a huge sigh
and collapsed on her bed out of fatigue. “Whew!” she exclaimed. “If training’s
that tough, then the competition must be Hell…” Then, Chiko, her Meganium, was scuffing
through the plants that sat on the windowed balcony again. “Chiko, what are you
doing?” she asked with concern; he had been acting funny the day before
yesterday as well. Perhaps he was sensing something on its way like a natural
disaster or something. Like a dog. Nah, it couldn’t be. Worried, she called
back the tired Meganium and looked curiously at the capsule. Then, she plopped
it to the ground and took in a deep breath. She exhaled. “Training sure is
tough,” she laughed to herself. Then, she stopped smiling. Where were her
friends? Oh, yeah. They had split up. “I think I’m going to turn in early
tonight,” she said to herself once more as she rolled over and pulled the
thick, colorful quilt up to her cold, shivering neck. It was still in
mid-Winter, after all. “I’ll need my beauty sleep. Training does begin at dawn,
I believe.” Then, without hesitation, her head plopped into the fluffy,
inviting pillow and fell asleep. Meanwhile, A user of this, cookie in hand, and
his large army of Pikmin friends were becoming stronger by the hour; they were
testing their skills on the already dead and dying trees of the rural,
uninhabited parts of the Avatar: The Last Airbender World. He would prove
useful now in the final battle against some sort of super villain, if there was
a final battle. Matthew2321 was testing his electrical capabilities over at the
Pokémon World. He did not go where Kimmy, green, and Jerry had been, the region
of Kalos, but he was instead lingering around Kanto, a more peaceful place
filled with more worthy wild opponents. He was also becoming increasingly strong,
just like the rest. Poor Mr. Zed still hadn’t a clue as to what to do. Then, it
dawned on him. He was a Hamster from Hamtaro, after all. Why not use his long,
black tail for whipping up some baddies? It may prove useful. So, he tested it
on a pile of hay in a horses’ stable located within a World he had lost track
of; he was really lost. Evidently, it worked. His tail snapped every piece into
two. It was supernatural. That was his new training. Jerry, someone we had not
covered in a long time, was sitting under a pale moon night after night, thinking
about his past and feeling guilty about everything. Greenluigi, Kimmy’s now
jealous cousin, was practicing his swordighting skills with Gaepora, headmaster
of Knight Academy, in Skyloft, which is in the Zelda World. Why not take out
the regional villain while he was there? He didn’t need Kimmy or anyone’s help.
It didn’t occur to him that his over-self-confidence may have lead to his
possible mess-up. DenzGamer135 was sleeping away inside a hotel room across the
hall from NintendoFanKimmy’s. He was also tired out due to the day’s training
sessions. In the distance, a tall, silver-haired woman wielding a long sword
half as tall as Kimmy stood watching over the village in a light pink dress
with black linings. Her hair was blowing slowly in the breeze, and she watched
over the villagers in concern. She had beautiful, glistening red eyes that
sparkled in the night, and a warm, kind heart praised and admired by all. Her
name was Eniitan, but everyone called her Eni. Would fate have Eniitan and our
heroes destined to meet in the future? That was to be found out. For now, most
of our heroes lay dormant, regaining their burned energy of the day. Davideo7,
tRIUNE, and geeogree were doing their best at maintaining what was left of poor
Vizzed as the violent attacks from the same hack raged on. All Newbies, Normal
Members, and Trusted Members were to stay inside their home Profiles at all
times with no exceptions. Site Staff, Vizzed Elites, and Local Moderators were
to stay within the vicinity of professional hospitals while on patrol, and
Global Moderators were armed with tall, sharp swords at the gates of the city.
The times were scary. But this is why Kimmy and friends set out on the
adventure in the first place – to avenge Vizzed and protect it from further
harm, collecting help and advice along the way to help restore it upon return.
If they managed to conquer the final boss, that is. But enough about that. They
still needed some major training. The second session was going to begin the
next day.
