Light Knight : That was actually very helpful thanks for the tips. I've gradually made a step forward and can now recall my dreams or remember them easier. Although the only problem is that when I actually become aware that I'm dream I no I always end up waking up. But I'll try the spinning in circles I've never actually heard of that trick before so thanks.

I have not had lucid dreams before but I have come close to doing that a few times. What I mean by that is, I knew I was dreaming and I had partial control over my dreams.

I am always fond of lucid dreaming from a technology standpoint the many ideas we get from dreaming such as some of the biggest inspirations in history come from dreams so when you think about it I always wonder why technology has advanced enough for a viable lucid dreaming device that works perfectly.

My best friend has had quite some experience with lucid dreams and other things of the sort, but I have never had one myself. I find the idea fascinating, however, and I really wish I would have one already. 

I guess I have had a lucid dream before if you count sleep paralysis experiences as lucid dreams. It only happened to me once, but let me tell you, sleep paralysis is no fun whatsoever, and it is one of the risks of trying to lucid dream (unless it is considered a lucid dream itself). This specific nightmare was like most sleep paralyses; a state in which it feels like reality and you can't move as a dark, unsettling creature draws nearer and nearer ever so slowly. Not a pretty sight, I'll give it that much.

Despite the risk, I'd very much like to have a real, enjoyable lucid dream for once. Perhaps it will happen someday. My best friend says they're great! And they probably are, according to what I've heard about them.
