You might not even be able to get Kingdra because you get a Kingdra by trading a Seadra while it is holding a dragon scale. If it said it would work that might be a glitch and you might want to report it to the person who made the hack.

I believe the correct way to do it is to give your Seadra a King's Rock, and then trade it. I could be wrong, but I thought that was the way to do it. I know that way back in the days of Gold and Silver, I gave my Onix a Metal Coat, then I traded it to my friend and it evolved into a Steelix. I'm thinking replace my Onix with your Seadra and give it a King's Rock. I think that is how its done...not sure though. I remember we were doing it just for the sake of completing each others pokedex. It seemed to work back then.
