   TITLE: Devil's Crush  System: Turbografx-16  By Golgo-14

           IF ONLY ALL PINBALL GAMES WERE LIKE THIS...
           

     Having never played a digital video pinball game since the  NES I had always felt that pinball was better left in it's original state.Boy was I wrong, so very, very... wrong. Lo' and behold one of the greatest digital pinball games EVER.. Devil's Crush..Lets get to it!!!
     GRAPHICS: 9  Right away as soon as the table is displayed you just know you're in for something special. There is so much rich,vibrant color and detail showcasing all these little demons and  monsters circling around pentagrams surrounded by blood. I could't shake the idea that if Rob Zombie were to design a pinball table,this would be it!! The animation is smooth complimenting the vivid sprites and it's not until you give this title a good 10-15 min till you start to see all the little evil destructible minions and the hauntingly beautiful bonus rooms.

    SOUND/MUSIC: 10  More so than the arresting visuals lies one of the top soundtracks I've ever heard on any Turbografx game. Devil's Crush belts you across the face with a whiplash of  dark, gothic, metal synth mix that is sure to leave you're ears ringing in the best way possible.The music and sound design are quite stunning!

ADDICTIVENESS: 9 Devil's Crush hooks you right away.There are many,many different rooms to discover and the gorgeous table itself is always transforming adding a sense of discovery and wonder. The ball physics(though not quite realistic)serves the table well and flippers are all designed and placed expertly but most interestingly you can actually finish this table and it has an ending...TAKE THAT PINBOT!! Just wow.

 STORY: ? As mentioned earlier there is an ending , but the reason is unknown to me. I challenge any developer to make a digital pinball paired with an engrossing narrative lol!!!
 
CONCLUSION: Devil's Crush certainly changed my perspective on digital pinball as a genre and can only hope that developers use this game for a blueprint for future digital pinball releases in the future.Simply Awesome!

First, don't make the text huge like that. It gives it false length and is kind of annoying. Second,don't use text talk like lol when writing reviews.  Other than that it was pretty good. You could have added onto it a little more, but it isn't bad.

Yeah, tgags123 and Boxia make some good points but I like the way your review flows seamlessly from one sentence to the next. As a matter of fact I liked the review so much that I played the game and now hold the high score on it's RGR page (for the moment). Keep writing and follow most of the advice given and the next one of your reviews might be worthy of being "featured".

I honestly think the font is fine. Who cares if it makes it seem longer than it really is. Plenty of magazines do the same thing to fill a page. And I thought it was done in a way that made it smooth to read.

Now regarding the music: Am I the only one who secretly wishes a metal band would cover this in one way or another? I mean, I've heard metal versions of some really iconic NES music like the Super Mario Bros. theme, and it came out great. So imagine how the music for this game would sound with real life distorted guitars, drums, bass and keyboard. I think it would sound epic!
