As many of you know, there is a Pokemon hack competition going on and I was trying to compete in it. I've sorted out a lot of the scripting and only have some small changes to make. However, these small changes are essential to my hack and the people I was working on it with are having trouble working things out with each other and in the end, they just yesterday informed me that they aren't going to help me out with it. Since it's so close to the deadline, I doubt I'll be putting up my hack in time for the end of the contest, especially with the Tour de Vizzed going on that I've been taking part in.

The purpose of this thread is to ask this: have you gotten ideas for a Pokemon hack that you couldn't successfully do, either because of time or because of technical issues or something else?

Oh yes I have had some ideas.

I had this dream, I was alone. My parents abandoned me. I was walking around in a busy market of some sorts. With ratty clothing and such. And I look up, and see a building...

This building is the EXACT shape of a GBA cartridge. It is clear red with a shiny silver label with the words: Pokémon pure white.

I haven't been able to create this at all... The story would be about a 13 year old boy who lost his parents and siblings, and an old man walks up and asks him things... And gives him a pokemon...

Yea. That's it.
