I don't think mario is mental.. he has a lot of attributes but to me those videos are just made up by somebody that wants to make something up about mario. I think that he could easily be called mental but he is just a video game character so if that was true I don't think it would really matter to much.

First off huge fan of The Game Theorists. I do think mario is mental not only did he point out all of those facts correctly and logically,but come on. No one would be that loyal and that brave to deal with everything he has to do. Like he says It's just a theory, we will never know.

Adding to what Bintsy said, Mario is only a video game character. He may of killed hundreds of innocent Goomba's, bullied his brother and many more but does it effect the way we play Mario? No.
You can't really feel sorry for something so suttle and in a video game.

Tons of Innocent people get killed in GTA 5, does that change the way we play it? No.

The game theorists are great Youtubes and I like what they do a lot but people need to remember they are talking about the fictional world of Mario.

As a fan of Game Theory, I can say that MatPat made some amazing points in this, however Mario nor Luigi or anyone is "mental" First off, they are fictional characters, not real, not being able to be diagnosed with any disorders or be called mental. Second off, he says that he is mental because he kills lot's of innocent people and is evil versus his brother and girlfriend. Now, in any GTA game, you kill billions of innocent people, and are an evil tyrant versus everyone, does that mean they are mental? No, it doesn't

Also, about Mario mistreating Yoshi, he doesn't. If you see closely, you can see Mario's hand passes near Yoshi, doesn't hit him. You can see that his fist is over Yoshi's head. It's more easy to see in the newer games, but you can still see it in the SNES game.
