I've been getting annoyed by noobs who always think ubers and legendarys are THE BEST pokemon ever, like they're unstoppable or something. I think ubers are overrated, some are respectable (like Latios) but most are just annoying. What are your opinions?

Ubers are pokemon who are known for being "unstoppable" usually legendary pokemon are ubers but there are a few others although I think the only non-legendary uber I know of is salamence, unless heatran isn't legendary

Usually the legendary pokemon are designed to be unstoppable, but I understand what you mean by lots of people saying that they're the strongest. The newbies who always say the legendarys are the best are probably just trying to get used to the board.

well ok, go on youtube and search uber pokemon or try gamefaqs, I didn't even know the word until I saw people calling them that, and you're only ten right? so there's a good chance you haven't heard other people call them that because you probably hang out with people your age, who also haven't heard the word uber

erm, i think any uber can be defeated in the right type advantage and ev training, but some such as arceus, mewtwo, lugia, ho-oh, rayquaza, dialga, palkia, and giratina are just unfair sometimes

The term "uber" is not used in Australia at all (and anyone who might does not know what their talking about, take it from someone that started on Pokemon Red when it came out), and its the wrong term anyways.
In any case, legendaries are just something to fill your Pokedex up, a small challenge to say look I caught it.
Some can be used for competitive battling if trained correctly, but so can alot of non legendaries with the right movesets and breeding.
