As it is, I honestly wouldn't mind getting rid of the VCS. And I say this as like a, what, 5 time winner of the competition.

I'm not really a fan of "high post count equals win", but then again, I think posting competitions are silly to begin with, no matter what you are trying to judge.

Post how you feel, not to win.

I'm not going to lie. After the first week or so, this TdV became pretty calm. I hope all of the future TdV's are as calm as this one has been the past 2 or so weeks. Congrats to all those who won jerseys btw.

megamanmaniac : Yeah, to my point of view, this was the least controversial TdV so far, ain't experienced any issues with TdV (Well, at least after Summer 2013 and Autumn 2013 and those two were extremely horrible)

Well, today is pretty pointless for me to compete since I am gonna wear my red jersey for a month starting from tomorrow anyways. But if I am in risk of losing my 3rd place overall, then I may compete but I don't see any risks now. It was a fun TDV guys!

Well, I guess this is it. I won't be able to wear at jerseys but I could just help my team win by getting a few points toast, maybe win a jersey or two. Let's go on this last day, and it haven't seen much spam.

Ah well, I got some points for today even though competition isn't quite over yet. I managed to submit my nearly 2,000 word long review which I am pretty satisfied with. At least I was able to end off with about 55 points or so, I don't really know what the exact number is. I bet that if I really tried and committed myself like last TDV I would've had a good chance of winning, not certain, but a decent chance. Then again i just wasn't really up for it, plus it is just best to let someone else be in the spotlight for a change. 

EideticMemory : Congrats on winning that awesome rainbow banner, white and the blue, yellow and green jerseys man. Not going to lie man, that is pretty impressive. You earned it man. Great job.

mohammedroxx3 : Congrats on that red man, you were pretty determined for it and you were always working hard for a big story or review to get it every night. Nice job man, your hard work really paid off!

Bintsy : Nice job with coming in second, you are an extremely tough competitor and you had rainbow a good portion of the month. You were amazing out there. Nice job to you as well!

And congrats to all those who competed and worked hard for their teams. This was a fun competition. Mostly because it was more calm and relaxed.

Bintsy : Congratulations on second place, and I wish you even more luck in future TdVs!

EideticMemory : Congratulations on winning this season's Tour de Vizzed competition and becoming the champion for the white banner, rainbow banner, green, yellow, and blue Jerseys as well; this is very impressive coming from a new member. Also, I love how you began the competition as a Newbie, and left out as a Trusted Member. Coincidentally, I left with a higher rank myself. I have escalated from Normal Member to Trusted Member within the time span of this TdV. I know I say continuously that Tour de Vizzed changes people for worse and brings out their nastier sides, but I am partially wrong. It has evidently changed some people like you and I for better, and made them better known around the community for their kindness, not their rudeness or spamming.

I just want to say that, according to comments from older members, this was the calmest TdV yet. I was a tad surprised when I found out, as it wasn't entirely spam-free ether. Again, who expects any sort of competition, regardless of the type, without cheaters? No one can, you should always expect them. Nevertheless, I overall enjoyed this TdV, as it was the first one I have seen, let alone competed in. I am not yet sure if I made it into the top 5, let alone the top 10, but probably not. I don't feel like I deserve it. I have been told by someone that I was spamming, and I hadn't realized it until he said so, but after seeing the links, I was reminded of the dumb, three-word long 'thank you!' replies to some random threads I had made. I did try hard, though, and I hope everyone had fun. I would like to congratulate every one who won a Jersey in TdV's time, and thank you to to the quality posters who made it all worthwhile.

Congratulations finalists of TdV Winter 2014! May you have luck and spirit in the posting competitions to follow, and may this TdV remain as memorable as the past ones; it was one hell of a fun rollercoaster ride: filled with ups, filled with downs, and filled with surprises - just like life.

let's hope the next tdv is a little bit more cautious then this one.

Davideo7 :  David, I looked back a few posts ago to see the conversation about getting rid of the blue jersey and I had an idea. Instead of having users DQ'd for a jersey, why not let them stay in the contest but have them lose all the points they gained for that jersey?
Example

Let's say after 10 days I have 10 points in Blue and I do something DQ worthy. I can still be a part of the contest, but those points that I earned already for the Blue are erased and I start over at 0 again for that jersey. If 10 days later, I get 6 points and I do something again, then those 6 points will be taken away.

There would be 2 ways to do this, the points taken away could count only for that jersey, meaning that no matter how many points you lose for a specific jersey, you keep those points for the overall tdv score.

Or it could be that if points are taken away from a jersey, they are also taken away from the overall score as well.

zanderlex : Wouldn't that cause a problem, like what happens on like the 28th day or on and someone ended up getting DQed on accident, then they would of lost every single points they have earned for that month, especially if someone knows they have twice as much as the person in 2nd place though.

IgorBird122 : Well, if it's an accident, and not somebody doing something wrong on purpose, then I'm sure something would be worked out. Or you can erase a certain amount of days worth of points, a certain percentage of points, automatically pushed down a place early on in the month, etc.

What a great Tour de Vizzed! It was definitely the most interesting one! I hope more Tour de Vizzed months are as great as last month was!

XD I guess I'm happy that I managed to wear a red jersey for a month. I was never intending to compete for red jersey overall until I found out that I snagged the red jersey lead in the middle of the month. XD

It was a fun TDV. Congrats to everyone who also participated.

IgorBird122 : instead a better idea then zander's is too have like 20 word+ posts or they lose posts points for what place they earned for blue jersey for making spammy posts

deg2000 : You know, that does sound like a good idea to have, subtract points for people that got DQed rather than not letting them compete in TdV.

IgorBird122 : To add on to that idea, if someone gets a DQ for the 1st time for that jersey, they lose 5 points for that jersey. If they get DQ'd for a 2nd time, they lose 15 points for that jersey. And the more they get DQ'd, just keep multiplying the last negative number they got by 3. Which would mean that they would lose 45 points for the 3rd time they get DQ'd. (15 X 3 = 45). Once a user hits negative TDV points for that jersey, they are completely DQ'd from that jersey for the rest of the month. What do you guys think?
