What are your favorite Christmas traditions? I love making gingerbread cookies with my family and eating fried chicken and looking at Christmas lights.

I love loading the house with candles.
It has been mostly for romantic encounters but I have extended the practice during the cold winter as the candles themselves generate heat and chop off a huge load on the electric bill.
I light one in every house I am invited in. Odd and solitair I know. But still it is a good neighbor trick that could go unnoticed. Stuff like that is what I excel at. May sound lame but the few who notice come up in the oddest places at the oddest times.
Yes, they ask, but I often tell them it has to do with my grandparents and keeping a light on to guide relatives home.
Then when the bills come in and the neighbors get a break?
They often treat me like a lucky charm and invite me over more often. (The ones that notice that is.)
Good Times.
Good Luck.
Peace.

Sauna, dinner, passing the gifts, then getting slowly hammered. If there is a kid or more in the house, somebody dressed up as Santa gives out the gifts and you try to be less hammered. The kid cries for not getting some fancy new phone or iPad or whatever and the rest of us try to be less annoyed.

If there is not anybody below the age of 13 in the house there is some mild cursing and some play on who gets to be the wittiest troll on the table without actually getting anyone really angry and if there is not actual shouting, threats or anyone leave the door slamming we can call it a pretty good Christmas. Then we eat the leftovers for the next few days.
