Introduction
Hello and welcome to me review for TMNT Turtles in time 4 for the SNES. This is by far one of my most favorite childhood games growing up and I only wish I still had this for my Super Nintendo [I don't throw away the classics..EVER!]. In this review I will be comparing the Super Nintendo port to the original classic arcade port of Turtles in Time.

Graphics-9 out of 10
It's the Super Nintendo and good graphics is what the Super Nintendo was good at, however the arcade version does still beat this one in terms of superior look and details.

Difficulty-7 out of 10
The game takes a little bit of practice, but once you get the hang of things, you'll be amazed that you ever really lost in the first place. It can be a bit chaotic like most games the further you get, but even on normal you won't notice too much of a difference. Really the only hardest stage is "Starbase" and that's because its a mix of all Foot Ninjas and as plenty of traps for you to avoid.

Bosses take on they're on difficulty away from the arcade, as the arcade bosses just punch and chase, but the Super Nintendo bosses require you to use your brain a little bit more. Using Slash as an example, whom is no doubt the hardest boss in the game and use to have me in fear of reaching his stage as a kid, does indeed have flaws. He hits like a truck, but is also kind of a moron. If you can manage to stay out the way of his mean blades and back him into a corner, he'll expose himself allow you to make fast work of him.

Super Shredder, is another guy as a kid I use to didn't think I could beat at all without some help and I was somewhat right. A couple months ago when I first joined this site, this was the first game I made my way too and Shredder beat me badly. Later on, it soon became clear to me, that Shredders movements were as predictable side jumping him and letting him have it.

Story-4 out of 10
The story is the weakest thing about the game if there even is a story. For whatever reason, Shredder has Krang steal the Statue of Liberty. Not exactly sure what Shredder wants to do with it, besides using it as a giant decoration, because I can't picture how he can take over the world with it alone and it's never explained in the game, besides being an excuse for the Turtles to come after him.

Sound-9 out of 10
Not a whole lot to say in this department besides the sound and music is awesome as with a lot of games produced in the 90's. The only reason I gave this a 9 is because it doesn't share the colorful voice overs that the arcade version brought to the table.

Addictiveness-10 out of 10
If you love classic beat-em-ups this was the game back in the day you needed to play with a friend. It's fast paced, has plenty of action that gets better the further you go into the game and the bosses don't beat you down so much that it takes the fun element out of the game.

Depth-8 out of 10
This is just a beat-em-up so it's pretty right to the point. Smash your way though enemy's to defeat the boss on the other side and go on to the next level. It did however bring it's own elements to the table that the arcade version didn't have. More better bosses and more stages. I said it before and I will say it again, if you merged the arcade ports superior look and voice overs, with the SNES port, you would have the perfect beat-em-up game.
