Jesse Powell : Definitely not the worst review I've seen, but it could have been organized a lot better. Instead of lumping it all into one paragraph, break it down into categories; and don't forget to use punctuation. It will be much easier to write and read it like that. As it is now, it just looks like the world's longest run-on sentence.

LukinaX : I'd have to agree. A 10 for the difficulty does seem somewhat high in my opinion, although there are parts of the game that are deserving of this rating. (Flight levels)

I've played all of the Spyro trilogy, and this one isn't technically my favorite, but it did boot one of the better characters in gaming. If only we can see games like this for Spyro again. Now he's...bad.

I've never played Spyro but I've heard that it was a good game. I always wanted to try it though.

The first Spyro game was great, but Year of the Dragon is certainly the finest.

In terms of review quality, there needs to be more punctuation, capitalization, sentence structure, and sorting by category.

It was a good review, but it certainly needs quite a bit of work.

It's good to see everyone is so forgiving in their criticism, but there's nothing wrong with being a little bit more constructive.

Even if you would've used proper punctuation to make it more readable, it still wouldn't have been a valid review. If anything, it would've fitted better as a walkthrough, or a summary. Everything you said about Spyro the Dragon was about what you needed to do in order to progress in the game, and that is not what's supposed to be said in a review. The only game facts that should be in a review are a small summary of the game's story, and the game's graphics. Anything else should say something about your opinion of every aspect of the game, your feeling towards it. And be sure to be as detailed in your thoughts as possible. Where the graphics any good? Was the sound nice to listen to? Where you addicted to Spyro the Dragon from start to finish, or where there times you were getting kinda sick of it for a while? And so on.

And like a couple of people above me said, be sure to break down your reviews into paragraphs, so it gets more readable. A paragraph per aspect is ideal, but you're welcome to play around with it. It's your review, after all.

This was a good attempt, because you've obviously worked hard at it, and that's always admirable. But as a review, this just wouldn't cut it. But I'm sure you'll improve if you keep true to these pointers, and you keep at it.
