Does anyone know how to get to websites that the school blocks?

Well my school finally did it. They blocked Vizzed This means that I can no longer get on Vizzed at lunch on my phone. Unless someone knows how to bypass the BASCOM thingy.

Basically, this is how it works. At my school, if you want to go on the internet, you need to use a BASCOM login. The student login allows you to use only research sites, and even blocks things that are helpful to students like YouTube (you can find lots of informative videos on YouTube). What I want to know is how to bypass the BASCOM program so I can get to Vizzed. Anyone know how I could do this?

Use a VPN to dodge the schools blocks, pre install it on your apple device or any device that has apps, before you use the schools wifi. I recommend either tunnel bear or hotspot shield.

I have seen some students get across this school's blocker by downloading proxy changing programs on a jump drive, and using it on whatever computer they are on. However, they are punished more severely if caught than if they just were on an unblocked site that they shouldn't be on.

But I know if I caught one of my students doing it, I would not allow that student to use those devices in the class again because he/she abused the privilege. Although very few things in my class benefit from the use of such devices as I have stagecraft/set design classes and theatre performance class.

It really depends on what blocking programs that school uses, but for mine, how the students did it to get around these blocks is where you see the "http ://" (without the space), just replace that with this "https ://" (without the space) and that might help, at least what my school used, not sure on your school's blocker.

My friends use this cyberghost proxy and they type in the web address of the site they wish to go on and they get on it relatively easy. They have been on vizzed and youtube by using this proxy. Just type in cyberghost proxy in google and it should be the first result. After that then put in the URL of the site you wish to visit. Then click on the anonymize me button and you should be able to visit the site you put in. Pretty simple. My friends showed me how to do this but I have never actually done it because I am very cautious about being caught for these little things. So that is why I don't use this, but I know for a fact that it works because at the library my friends use it all the time. Hopefully it works for you though!

Well if its the same as the one in Britain, doubleclick/hold down the name of the website you want to go on when they pop up ( like when you google search, it pops up with all the results? The big name of it) and it should say "modify websites programming" or something along the lines of that. At the top it will have Http://joebloggs.com, and below it a line or two saying "site modification disabled". Delete disabled And type in enable. Then go to the very bottom where it should say either "locked" or "secured". Delete and add in "open" or "available". Then simply exit the modifier and go on the website, and then you're in!!
