Hey, I just finished another book series, so I need some more material. I really like dystopian novels, and I'm kinda fan of mysteries. I also like it with a little
Bit of romance stirred in. Some books I really like are The Hunger Games (except for Mockingjay), The Gone series by Michael Grant, The City of Ember, the divergent series, and And Then There Were None and other books by Agatha Christie. I dislike books with lots of Old English in them, like Shakesphere for example. It's ok to have some tricky words, but at least make them understandable. Oh, and it has to be some kind of fiction? And I dislike poetry. Finally, the pages in books I read ranges from 200-700. So, please help

Popeye116 : If you like mystery, you should try some of the Sherlock Holmes stories, which are classics and very good reads. Also, have you read the Uglies series? Those are some dystopian books sort of like you mentioned, or the Maze Runner series.

A few years ago I read a book called Three Times Lucky. It incorporates everything you mentioned (except for the dystopian part) in some way or another. It also has around 300 pages so I thought you might like it.

I would recommend you to read the novel of The Thirty-Nine Clues: The Maze of Bones? Why would I recommend this novel? Actually, it is extremely simple. This novel is a mysterious novel and I am certain many human beings enjoy a great mystery. It is complete with much tense and suspense. The plot is extremely thorough and every bit of information is significant. Be sure to watch for important clues, as they will be important later on throughout the novel. If you decide to read to read The Thirty-Nine Clues: The Maze of Bones, I wish for you to enjoy it!

If your looking for romance AND fiction then I would recommend the Seven Realms series and The Heir series both by Cinda Williams Chima. Both are currently unfinished series with about a book or 2 left to be written.

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief. You will not regret this. Trust me. Ten times better than the ridiculous movie adaptations, I guarantee it. I have read the first one myself, and I was very impressed.

I agree with the Percy Jackson suggestion. The whole series is really great. I would also like to suggest the Breach trilogy. The first book is The Breach, and it is by Patrick Lee. They are really, really good books And also, this is a great thread because I have been looking for some new reading material as well Another great series is Virals by Kathy Reichs.

I like to read the Bible. One because I am a Christian. Two the Bible is full of history from Mesopotamia days to the Roman Empire and beyond. Plus a lot of the stories are uplifting such as the books of Psalms, Proverbs and the New Testament.

I think you should take a break and read a comic book. I really suggest the scott pilgrim series. They are funny and they still manage to keep a decent story line. They take about 1 hours each to read.
