So my question is which Pokémon game should I play on Vizzed? I have already played Pokémon Platinum, Emerald, Fire Red, Rebirth and Light Platinum. Now I am looking for a Pokémon game that is good but also one that doesn't over do it. Platinum kind of over did it for me, I got confused a lot and lost my way a hundred times plus I am an old Pokémon fan and haven't even played past Emerald really so all the new Pokémon are mind blowing. So is there a  game I could play that could help me transition myself into the new Pokémon Gen or at least the one past Emerald that isn't too fancy lol any help is most appreciated.

Go with Soulsliver and Heartgold. Its has all the Pokémon from Gen 1 and 2 you know and love but with some cool new stuff like the Pokelathlon. It should ease you into the newer games and graphics without you being too lost. On the downside the game is fairly long; you have explore the Johto and Kanto all over again, but keep at it. It's a fun game and should bring back your nostalgia while playing.

Sounds pretty good at the moment I am playing Ash's Quest but so far it isn't that good of a game. The storyline is off and and so is the layout so sad.

pick pokemon manly pink. It is a rare case in which it looked like the programmers actually TRIED. I love how they did with the game.

If you're looking for games that have newer pokemon I would highly  recommend Pokemon - Yet Another Fire Red Hack, or as mentioned above, Manly Pink. Yet Another has a custom pokedex containing Generation I-V, while Manly Pink has Gen V only. Careful though, as all the pokemon names in Manly Pink are in Japanese.

Now, if you're looking for a more comfortable Gen I-III game, then Fire Red Omega or Emerald 386 are both good. You can catch all Gen I-III pokemon in both.

Light Platinum was a load full, wasn't it? But it sure was a heck of a game, I surely enjoyed it.

Anyways, one game that has been recommended by a few friends of mine is Dark Rising. It is known for its insane amount of time needed to grind. And of course, that is true.
You are accustomed to training your Pokemon at a high enough level to easily defeat trainers and gym leaders, like in Light Platinum, Emerald, FireRed, etc. But here, you have to grind to actually get any of your Pokemon at least two, or even three levels ahead of your average Bug Catcher Joe. It's a challenge, but challenges are fun (once in a while).

Two other games not really popular, but really deserve a mention, is Pokemon Glazed and Pokemon Rijon Adventures.

Glazed offers a new map, like Light Platinum, a new story line, and unique plot twists, even though most of it is predictable. Nevertheless, it kind of is like a bottled-down version of L. Platinum, just not so in depth (and popular).

Rijon Adventures offers a completely new map as well, and story too. I haven't played it in a while, but you should really check it out yourself.

Hope you choose a fun hack to play.

See so far in Pokémon Platinum I just passed the 3rd gym and his Pokémon were at level 30 which was nuts but I do enjoy a good challenge. I've seen Rijon Adventures when I looked around for some Pokémon games and thought it looked good but because of the lack of players I thought it might just seem good. But going of what you have said it does fun, new maps offers new adventures and thrills. Most hacks use the same map if not a similar one to which we have become accustomed so its always a nice change to see something new. What kind of Pokémon am I to expect in Pokémon Glazed?

wicked-pyper-lette :

I am glad you tried out Rijon Adventures...it's a pretty nice game. It's very free-roaming, like you can go to other areas that a normal game would not permit you to go yet, but you can go to the next city before challenging the gym in the previous city, which is nice, but really destroys the game a tad bit, making it (very) unorganized at times.

As for Glazed, in the description it states Sinnoh and Unova region Pokémon, so it's a pretty modern hack, and will offer some new Pokémon and moves not present in previous generations.
It also says you have five starters, 3 being your Sinnoh starters and the other 2 being Riolu and Shinx, which is a pretty nice starter Pokémon "pool", with different option for you to choose from. Riolu is actually understandable being a starter, since it is considered a little special...not your average Bidoof kind of Pokémon, but a rare one. Shinx is a normal Pokémon, so a mix of standard, "special", and just normal Pokémon is nice.
It says that the game is hard...if you train properly, like in any other Pokémon game, then the game isn't as hard as they make it out to be.

I dunno if this is a spoiler or not, or rather just a tip/trick, but I'll go ahead and say it. When you get to the Light House (I think it is the light house. If not, just the tower where you battle trainers to get to the top), there will be a prize for getting to the top - an Eevee! However, by the time you get to the Light House, your Pokémon are not going to be particularly strong yet. So expect to lose, you have to! It's an essential place for training, if you have a lot of money to spare, it's your best option. The Pokémon from the trainers really help out with exp; I myself lost a lot of times in the beginning, and it helped my training a lot, since Trainer battles help a little more than wild Pokémon battles.
Anyways, the thing about the Light House is that you can win unlimited Eevee's! You can literally keep challenging the Light House, and keep on winning those Eevee's (just make sure to have an empty party slot of course). Eevee isn't that important, so I came back to the Light House when my Pokes where pretty high levels, easily beating the challenge.

Hope you enjoy the game.

wicked-pyper-lette : I like expert emerald. It gives you the chance to catch a lot more of the starters.

So I am trying Rijion again and this time I get it and its pretty awesome, a little confused on where to find certain Pokémon but what fun would it be to have all the starters at the beginning. Expert Emerald is fun I have played it before but at the moment I am way sick of Emerald and all the game hacks with it. Like Platinum is basically a remade version of Emerald just with new Pokémon and certain town locations have been switched. I am going to play Glazed when I am done with Rijion but I have to write a review about it first so it may be a week or so before I can be really sure which game is more epic!!

You should definitely go with either Heart Gold or Soul Silver Versions. They are the best and most addictive ones in my opinion. Also, in terms of post-game things to do, these games have the most extensive ones yet,
