Well considering I live three hours away from Toronto...

Toronto voted in their new mayor, Rob Ford a couple years ago and I guess nobody really noticed he was a bit weird when they voted him in, but he was then accused of doing crack cocaine and he denied it all. Now very recently he came out and finally admitted to doing crack cocaine as well as hiring prostitutes and all that stuff. I'm not really sure if he was all well liked before all of this because I never really payed any attention but I assume he was kinda neutral. Some people liked him and some people didn't. So a long story short, he's basically done a lot of bad stuff. Stuff you certainly don't want a Mayor of a big city doing. This also just means he did a whole lot of lying as well.

Why is this even news? Just don't elect him any more. The news stations are flooded with this junk. The drug life of a mayor of Toronto has nothing to do with anything. If they voted him in because the voters support his cocaine use, that would be news. Currently, this is simply annoying.

He's in the wrong profession to loose it like that. As obnoxious as he is, a certain part of me feels bad for him: when most other people "crack under pressure", they don't have the whole world looking at them.

That being said, it is his responsibility to act a certain way and remove himself if he can't... and not do cocaine.

I think he is working in the wrong job. Part of me feels bad for him.. I did some research about this and it's just horrible. He is also in Canada.. that is pretty different.. I may not live in Canada but I know a lot about it.

It's just ridiculous to me that if you want to work at a grocery store or for some food chain. You're subject to random drug tests, but if your a politician, especially a congressman or a senator, no worries, do all the cocaine you want. You're only supposed to be running the country.

The mayor of Toronto is in a drug scandal. From what I have read he smoked Heroin while on the Job and also purchases drugs with the city money. The City council wanted him to resign but he refused. So the city of Toronto stripped him of making most decisions so now he is just a figurehead. He was in the news last week for going on a rage saying he will not go. The Mayor of Toronto is probably going to be facing criminal charges soon
