Heya and welcome to Type overview,Now before we start guys...i got some pretty bad news,I cant do Pokemon reviews anymore...yep,Apparently there to...Spammy?,just because i post 1 daily...? alright fine,at the risk of this being taken down,I will not bash them to no end,I'm just going to make them a running gag,Yep payback,You know in that cutsy sense of,"I'm not really insulting you,But i am suggesting it" Anyway i thank all of you for taking the time to review...well my reviews,In fact i am going to give you guys a bit of a tribute,I am going to mention some very noteworthy people,Who have constantly been replying to my reviews,So lets get this over with,Before this counts as spam and it gets taken down...oh you mods are going to be a fun gag,Anyway if you guys don't care about this,Just skip it,And go right to the overview

Sidewinder-Ahh this guy,I think that this is the most noteworthy guy on this list,He is not afraid to point out problems,And he usually replied to most of my reviews,So Sidewinder,I thanks you,And all the time you put into...well reading some mediocre review with grammer that just barely passes

Razor-987-This guy was here when my reviews were on the rise,And to be honest,He was rather bland,All he did was constantly tell me how good i was doing,Now i know that sounds weird,But he never told me any problems about anything,Or hey maybe i was just that good at reviews...Most likely not

Goodboy-This guy was one of the few people that got me on my feet,He was the first people to look at my first review,And he is the first person to reply to my first review,So not much to say about him,He didn't really stick around very long,But hey i still thank him.

And those are the most noteworthy mentions,I know there are ALOT more people,But the difference is,These 3 were Constantly looking at my reviews...well except Goodboy,anyway enough of this crap TIME TO THE OVERVIEW


Introduction

The oh so rare and elusive dragon types,Have been hiding in the shadows since gen 1,But they are...well i should say WERE extremely rare,That was until gen,4,Then these guys started to come out from the shadows,And said" HEY...YOU CAN EASILY FIND US NOW...COOL RIGHT",The Dragon types are also known for being sort of a,Jack of all trades,But a master of none style,Although some are EXTREMELY powerful,Near legendary level,Such as,Salamene,Hydreigon,They come in many shapes in sizes,Many stats,And many moves,So lets look at the progression of the Dragon type Pokemon

Gen 1

Dragonite
.......That's it.

Uh...Okay,Dragonite,The lone survivor of his entire race,Well at least that would be a good story,Dragonite does have a rather rough start,You know being EXTREMELY weak at the start,But it naturally progresses and earns it spot as the 6th most powerful Pokemon of gen 1,According to Bulbapedia,it has a few problems,but its actually a well balanced Pokemon for your team.

..ugh,Anyway,This move is pretty decent,I don't have much to say on it except...its good

The dragon types had a rather odd start in gen 1,But lets see how they do in gen 2

Gen 2

Kingdra
boop....boop...boop,I'm starting to run out of jokes

Kingdra is HATED throughout most of the community....when the a.i is using it that is,In the hands of players however,It is a deadly weapon,Especially if you know how to use it

Dragon breath
outrage
Twister

Finally some improvement,Dragon breath is a very good move,Outrage is most likely one of the best,If not THE best Dragon type move of all time,And twister is...possibly the worst dragon type move ever

Gen 2 introduced most likely the best dragon type move ever,and the worst dragon type move ever,plus a cool new dragon type,so uh...a bit of a double edged sword,but its better than nothing,At least the Dragon types are still extremely rare,But that's all about to change in gen 3.

Gen 3

Altaria
Flygon
Latias
Latios
Rayquaza

FINALLY,bagon is good once you get it to salamence,Altaria is okay,And flygon it kind of weak,But its still an effective party member,Latias and Latios are pretty effective,and Rayquaza is OP...kind of an understatement.

Okay,Pretty decent,We got a decent dragon type move,and One of the best dragon type moves,Guess which one is the best,And guess which one is worst...

Gen 3 had some pretty good things,And it also started the trend of Dragon types being easier to find....which i guess is technically a good thing,lets see whats's in store for gen 4...rhyme

Impressive,Garchomp is GREAT,and Dialga Palkia and Giritna,Are extremely powerful,But there meant to be.

Christ...all of these moves are great,there is nothing,NOTHING else i can say except that,I have nearly no special gripes with these moves,so yeah,nothing else to say except that.

Gen 4 offered nothing new or special,They just improved on what was already good,Which is pretty cool,lets see how they do on gen 5

GREAT,Haxorus is great,Druddigon is okay,Really he is the poor mans dragon type,Hydreigon is EXTREMELY OP,This comes from an online player,Who uses this thing,And really all the legendarys are okay..well that's just from my standpoint,From a technical and math matical standpoint,There pretty good

Dragon tail
Dual chop

Terrible.I hate both of these moves,in fact in my opinion,Dragon tail is one of the worst,If not the worst Dragon type move ever made

Gen 5 in my opinion...is sort of a step backwards,But they have not completely gone down the drain yet,So lets see how they fair in the final gen...until about 2-3 more years

Gen 6

Tyrunt

Dragalge

Goomy...ugh its okay,Zygarde is possibly my favorite legendary ever,Such a odd yet unique design ,And its pretty good in the game to,Tyurnt is once again a poor mans dragon type,All though it is not the worst,Dragalge is a pretty good Pokemon,With a few flaws.

Oh yeah no new moves...huh

Gen 6 is once again a bit of a step backwards,but really its not the worst,not by any means


Final thoughts

The Dragon types have had a bit of a ruff start,But they slowly start to revive themselves later on...then it goes right back to the start,These types are not really the best,In fact i think game freak just made them for fun at first,But then they got such a positive feedback,So they decided to try it again,And it worked AGAIN,Then it sucked again,Really this type is Starting to go down the drain,With an exception of a few Pokemon,I REALLY hope these guys get there act together,Because if they don't,There going to go the way of the electric types.

That sucks you can't review i've read a few of your reviews and they were good some were better but i really just look at the Pokemon i know (I'm just getting into the gen three games but i have played firered) so i never really got into the dragon Pokemon because dratini is just a pain to train and kingdra........no words to describe it but its worth the using horsea to get one
