I just got back from piano lessons, and my teacher told me to practice at least 30 minutes a day. That got wondering how much others practice their instruments of music, whether it's your voice, a violin, piano, tuba, trumpet or whatever. So how much do you play every day????

I do not really play any instruments apart from the keyboard which is self learnt. I play the keyboard quite often even though I do not have any lessons. I also spend a lot of time on my laptop creating my own songs. My resources are limited though because all I can use is audacity and anvil studio. I got the demo of FL Studio but that broke after one day of use with error 06! If you like I could upload something of mine to youtube or sound cloud.

Personally, I play Bassoon/Saxophone until my lips hurt and my sound starts to waiver. Normally I'll play one or both for about two hours total.
With guitar I can play for much longer, but I limit myself with learning specific things each day (A song, a few scales etc) a day as not to burn out on it and avoid developing bad habits.
