How are my fellow Geezers doing??

This here would be my first Geezer thread there!!

I'd thought I'd make this thread for everyone to share their favourite arcade gamez: It can be either the classic or even new ones!!

My favourite arcade gamez are:

Battletoads & Double Dragons: The Ultimate Team

Street Fighter ll

Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles, & 4 Episode 1 (have yet to play Episode 2)

Sonic Spinball

Rocket Knight Adventures

Golden Axe

Streets of Rage

Bonanza Brothers

Altered Beast

Shinobi lll

Spider-Man & X-Men: Arcade's Revenge

Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage

Dig Dug

Snake: Rattle 'N' Roll

Mega-Man

Super Smash TV

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out

Super Punch-Out

Pac-Man

Ms. Pac-Man

Pac-Mania

Super Mario Bros

Gaunlet

Mortal Kombat

Donkey Kong

Frogger

Galaga

The House of the Dead

Bubble Bobble

And of course Pinball gamez

So GEEZERZ: Share us your favourite arcade gamez?? I just thought I'd do that in case u wanted to share us the arcade gamez you have played growing up!!

Well I guess that's it there for my first Geezer thread.... I hope I did good there!!? Awesome-Kid is BLASTING OFF now!!

Altered beast, Double Dragon, Splatterhouse, Street fighter... I dunno. There were not any arcades where I lived and you would play what the gas station had. My favourite place to play most arcade games was at an amusement park where all the games were free but naturally, the lines to play the games were huge.

If anyone remembers what the game is called where you would go as a soldier on some spaceship that was infected with aliens and they would came and bite or scratch at you leaving bloody marks on the screen, it would be appreciated. This was a shooting game and the booth would have these Uzi type guns you would use to play the game with. The only place I ever played the game was on some ship going back and forth between Finland and Sweden some time in the 90`s.

I used to spend lots of time and lots of quarters playing teenage mutant ninja turtles perfecting the art of michelangelo. But then i'd also play pacman, galactic, mortal kombat, nfl blitz, and there was this golf game i can't remember that i was horrible at but i enjoyed it.

To keep this fairly brief I'll just mention games I actually played in arcades. In the 90s I use to play Street Fighter II (original and turbo), Golden Axe, Shadow Dancer (Shinobi), and pretty much any brawler I would find. When Mortal Kombat came out I fell for it pretty hard. I would go to the arcade and compete with some pretty heavy competition on the weekends, exciting times. I do still frequent Dave & Busters which has a pretty decent retro area. I have the highscore for Mario Bros and Donkey Kong Jr at several locations. I also play Galaga, Donkey Kong, Ms Pac-Man, Qix, Space Invaders, Missile Command, and Centipede. Since we have access to the MAME emulator, we can train for any of them using save states. When I play these retro arcades I normally only spend 50 cents an hour. It's like sticking it to the man.

Somebody actually said back in the day that game graphics have reached their perfection after Golden Axe and there is no reason to develop graphics any further. And no, this was not some "pal of mine" but some game critic.

I never played Space Harriers arcade version but had it on Atari St. Awesome and odd game. Wish I still had that.

Also does anyone remember New Zealand story? I never played the arcade version but I loved that game. I bet if anyone of you have kiddies at home, they might love it.

Awesome-Kid : Nice thread idea! Gives me some games to try out on here! My favorite arcade game was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It was the one similar to Turtles 2 for NES. It was so awesome to play with the joystick though My mom didn't let me play in the mall arcade, so I played this at a local pizza place when we would eat there and I think it was one of the only arcade games I played as a kid. My parents bought me a Nintendo so I'd stop asking to play arcade games probably LOL When Dance Dance Revolution came out (years later I know) that was awesome to play at the arcade!
