Okay so as the thread title says, I am just curious, I went to catch Zygarde today and I went into terminus cave and where Zygarde was there were 3 paths, and at the end of each of them were a Lustrous, adamant and Giseous orbs which were meant to be held by palkia, dialga and giratina. I am just curious if they are catchable or obtainable in this game since their stones are in the end of the cave where Zygarde is supposed to be caught in.  I don't know if this is some kind of clue or if they are obtainable int he game or not, but I was just curious and I thought I would ask those who are farther along in the game an have beaten it and seen everything.

Can you catch or obtain these pokemon in the game, or is there some sort of event that will come at a date to get these pokemon. I have heard about  a bank in which you can transfer pokemon from Black and White which is unfortunate since I never had them, but I am curious if that is how you can get these pokemon....just curious about this....

I thought they did have one point where you could get a shiny level 100 palkia, giratina and dialga though before pokemon X came out, each one was available for 3 weeks and you could get them in shiny form. I am just curious if they are going to do that for this game because it would really make no sense to have these orbs unless that is what they did or they could transfer pokemon from the pokemon bank. I just think it wouldn't make any sense personally. It would be cool if they were available to catch in this game. 

As said before by other users in this thread, you are not able to catch the Sinnoh legendaries in the default story. It is most likely there will be an event in the near future because that is a pokemon tradition. It is most likely the pokemon from the previous region so I am guessing you would get Zekrom and / or Reshiram. 
There is still a way to get them onto your pokedex, however it will only count as being seen. If you go into any cafe and select to dine on the "Terrace" and speak to the people there. The people will talk to you about pokemon and when the pokemon appear on the screen then it counts as you seeing the pokemon. You can do this on any type of dining but there is a high chance of seeing a legendary, and other rare pokemon, if you choose terrace.

There is a bunch of things that seem to be for legendary Pokemon, like the orbs in terminus cave, the punk girl in Kiloude city who (probably) gives you the DNA splicers for Kyurem, the parfum palace courtyard and  the meteorites in the Ambrette Town fossil lab just to name a few. We won't know about what these things really do until Pokemon Bank is released on Christmas, where we can send over the legendaries from Gen V.

Razor-987 : No, you cannot as of now. There might be an event for them sometime, but I think it's for Pokebank(A pokemon PC box between all DS Pokemon games)coming out in december, 4 dollars per month. You'll be able to take Dialga/Palkia/Giratina from the older games and basically transfer them in to the new ones. Yay!

Razor-987 : well my friend I wish if there was these 3 legendary in this game but at least you only obtained the orbs. could this be a hint in pokemon z?!

Sorry, but I do not think they it is possible to obtain Giratina, Dialga, or Palkia in Pokemon X or Pokemon Y. Unless you come across some in Wonder Trade.

The only way to get Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, is pokebank, wondertrade and GTS. I would find waiting until pokebank or just keep and searching the GTS, and find some luck to get these three legends. But that you have never played Black and White, so literally the only choice you have is GTS and Wonder trade! 

Just to clear things up the orbs for giratina palkia and dialga were in fact put there for a reason along with the dna splicer this doesn't mean they are in-game and findable this is due to the fact that pokemon bank you cannot bring items only pokemon so due to this they had to put the orbs that the legendarys use/require in-game if not there would be no dialga and palkia orb power ups and no other giratina forms plus in black and white 2 you wouldn't be able to get dna spliced reshiram and zekrom.

sadly there is no Giratina, Palkia and Dialga in Pokemon X

Yeah, I am well aware that they aren't obtainable in X now, they are only there because you can get giratina, palkia and the other legendary pokemon from black and white and then put the item on them on X since you can't transport items through the bank. Thanks for the answers though.
