Hello.  I am new to the site.  It can be a bit confusing but I have tried to find help on the site before asking someone.

Two questions, if you have the time.  I have tried to play Final Fantasy (NES Version)

1) I tried the Flash emulator.  It works, but the F5 saving only restarts the game.  The very first time I used F5 it saved, but now every time I use it the game starts over and doesn't save.

2) I then tried to use the other two emulators that require RGR.  I download RGR and had an error until I read about compatibility view changes.  I did that, and now I don't get an error, but just a blank grey screen.

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated!
