Here’s a basic rundown on how to make a layout. You can always experiment if you want.

Edit Profile & Settings > Edit Layout > New Layout

Since you're only a newbie, you can only make layouts using the Vizzed Board CSS Layout Creator.

1. Click on the hollow white dot below the striped box that has the grey and white colors on it.

2. Now refer to the three boxes on the right, where it says; BOX 1 (HEADER), BOX 2 (POST), BOX 3 (FOOTER). Focus on BOX 1 first.

3. The first thing you should do is scroll down to a section that says 'Enter Text'. Highlight the text and press backspace to delete it. Click on anywhere OUTSIDE the text to make the action take in effect.

4. Now you can either put a picture on that box or make it a different background color.

a. If you want to use a different background color, refer to this link for the HEX code. Locate the Background color section and put in the HEX code of your liking.

b. If you want to use a picture, upload said picture in the Vizzed Photo Album. However, you must abide by the rules of the Photo Album, unless you want to get banned. After you have uploaded your picture (which costs viz), you need to copy the url at the BOTTOM of your picture. Locate Background Picture on your BOX 1 (HEADER) and paste the url there. Click on anywhere outside the text for the picture to show. Note; this method I don't recommend for newbies, since the picture isn't always going to look right on the layout. As for Background Position and Background Repeat, it's best to put Position at Center and Repeat at no repeat.

5. Now move on to BOX 2 (POST). I do not recommend putting a picture in that section. It will make your post hard to read. You can always change the Background Color and Text Color to your liking using the HEX code link I gave you. However, issues may arise if you use conflicting colors. You have been warned.

6. The BOX 3 (FOOTER) is basically the same as the BOX 1 (HEADER), so use my advice in steps 3 and 4a/b.

After that, just title your layout and save it.

greenluigi : Well, since you're a Normal member, you can only use the Vizzed Board CSS Layout Creator, and if you wanted something me and Mistress has, you most have to be trusted+ to get one.
But using it isn't that hard at all though, you can first test it from other sites (like Photobucket or and other places) to see if it'll work, and then later on, you can upload it onto Vizzed, but the only disadvantage is you have some limits on the picture though, and also, need to follow the rules for uploading content on here, once you do, that's all you need.
Then when you become Trusted, you can have a layout like what me and Mistress has, but you need to know HTML/CSS though, if not, you can have someone do it for you, but it'll cost some Viz though.
