Local Mods : I'm not sure but this may be a duplicate thread. Also shouldn't this go to the Pokémon forum? I mean that is where it belongs in the end isn't it? But while I'm here I may as well answer the question this dude asked.

I have no favorite Mega Evolution, why? I don't play Pokémon and have never gotten the chance to use or even really see one. What are their stats like? What type are they? I usually use fire so I guess I would go for a strong fire type if there is one but then again the chances of me getting any new Pokémon games are slim at best so I'll probably never get the chance to really learn about it nor will I really care all that much about it.

Frodlex : The mega-evolutions are generally the same type as the normal, or slightly different. 
And, the stats are just incredibly scaled, over-powered n my opinion.
