mine was the smashing pumpkins. when i was 7 or 8 my brother gave me his ancient iPod and it was filled with some older bands. i took a liking to the smashing pumpkins and I'm still into them!! hehe :^)

The Misfits. I was in middle school. They were the first band I really loved and one of the first  steps in my finding myself stage. I still listen to them every now and then. I don't really remember how I found them or anything (its been around 8 years, it easy to forget lol).

Wish I could say it would have been the Misfits but actually it was Guns n roses. Why? Well I was ten years old. And even still I think many of their songs are pretty good rock and roll.

When I was about 5 or 6 I was a huge franz ferdinand fan, though it was almost forced onto me by my parents! They went to all of their concerts because they were relatively new at the time and they played it in the car all the time and then I got into them. I knew the songs, lyrics everything but then I got a bit bored of them and with that I stopped liking music until I then found a new band called Metronomy, they were great though I am not too much of a fan of their new stuff. From that, I became a huge Chemical Brothers fan which is where I am now!!

Linkin Park was my first favorite band, and are still one of my favorites. I was 4 when my mom bought their first album, "Hybrid Theory." To this day, it remains one of the best albums I've ever heard. Half of Minutes to Midnight was good, and A Thousand Suns was a heaping pile. When Living Things came out, my faith was restored. Their best album since Meteora.

Hopefully their next album will be as good as Living Things, or at least not like Minutes to Midnight or A Thousand Suns

I am old school so I like my oldies. The first band I like and I still like them to this day is The Dave Clark 5. I got introduced to them at age 11 and have liked them since.  I liked their songs because I could relate to them, and they also were groovy.

My first favorite band was they might be giants, and now I'm into punk. The first song I ever heard from them was The sun, and my favorite songfrom them was Purple Toupee. And all the people who like smashing pumpkins (and the misfits) are awesome. I also hate Lincoln park, just needed to get that out there.

So, this is probably a bit weird, but my first favorite band was Big Time Rush. I was always a fan of Nickleodeon, so one day when I had nothing better to watch, I had decided to watch their show. The first time I watched it, I hated it because it looked so stupid. The second time I saw it, it looked even more stupid, and the third time I watched it, it was at max stupidness, but I was beginning to like it. 

That episode also happened to be the first one I saw where they played a song, it was Till I forget about you, and I sort of liked it, so I had been listening to their music ever since.

   My greatest favored band must be the band of Avenged Sevenfold. I do not know the reason why I feel extremely addicted to their tunes, but I am just unable to halt thinking of their catchy tunes and the nice beats that go along with each of their songs.
