There are many new things I learn everyday, and I guess everyday, I am changing. I can do things I knew how to do much better and efficiently, and then I can do things I never knew how to do only yesterday.
A lot of the change I go through everyday involves my math class. Each day, my class goes through a new topic, something I never knew how to do (unless it very much resembled something I learned earlier), and now I am able to fulfill actions in that category.
Another biggie is in band class. I am learning a lot of new things for the trumpet, especially from the upper class-men. I thought I knew everything way back in the sixth grade, bust as I progressed, there were many new things revealed to me about the trumpet, and how complex music can be at times. Being in high school, I can grasp complexities and not be so confuzzled about them, but they sure are hard to learn.
Regarding long term items, I guess it would have to be rolling my R's. I never knew how to do it, but ever since being introduced to flutter-tonguing on the trumpet, I tried my hardest to learn how to roll my R's so I can actually do a flutter tongue on the trumpet. I wouldn't say my R's are being rolled perfectly, but I am making some progress, and I guess that's something I couldn't do previously.
How about you?
