I was sad when resident evil 5 came out because it was so easy to beat I beat in the first day I mean compared to resident evil 4 five was pretty bad resident evil 4 was the best it was so hard, long, and mentally challenging. It made resident evil 5 look like a fast joke I admit the graphics and story was pretty great but there are much better ones like RE 3, and 4. But the online on this game was great that's the only reason I didn't sell it the next day. So that's my opinion what's yours?

Am I really the only one who actually liked Resident Evil 5? True, it was practically not even a horror game anymore, while Resident Evil 4 and especially the first three just scared the pants off of me. But Resident Evil 5 played away really nice, it looked great at its time, its story was engaging, and I loved the Co-op. Resident Evil 6 and Operation Racoon City are about a billion times worse.

OrdannonsX : I did like it. Granted, it was not my favorite of the series, but I don't think it deserves the negativity that it has gotten. I think it suffers from Super Mario Bros. 2 complex. The game by itself is good and very solid. But because it was so different from the others in the series, people hated it. They can't look at the game as an individual. 

As for saying it was super easy, I will agree that it was the easiest in the series. But if you beat the whole thing in a day, you clearly were not playing on the hardest difficulty. Carrying healing items is near pointless because almost EVERYTHING instantly sends you to critical mode, and you have literally 1 second for your partner to revive you. If you are even more than 5 feet from your partner, you are dead from a single hit. Same with your partner. And when your partner gets hit a lot and puts him/herself in danger constantly, it is a pain to babysit. The first fight with Wesker and Jill is seriously a lot of luck. That took me constant tries to get through simply because my partner kept getting herself killed because she would run away from me to just leap head first into the fight. On easy mode, this game is a cakewalk to get through. Heck, even on medium and hard mode. But the hardest difficulty will take you more than a quick run through even if you have played this game dozens of times simply because the partner AI is careless.

You are both right 6 and raccoon city is much worse and I wasn't playing the hardest I didn't completely beat the game It took me about a week to get all S rank in level. Collect all the items (not counting guns.) and beat it on professional. So you guys are right this game is ok but I'm saying it could have been much better. Than it was. The first day Resident Evil 4 came out i got it. and played it for about a week and finally beat it on hard so that's the difference. BTW I didn't buy any Resident Evil game after that i played the demo and it was just to bad. 

Res5 was not a bad game by any stretch heck it would have been a good New IP if they put a different name on it changed the enemy's a little bit made characters different names and Severed all ties with Resident Evil.

Resident evil 1 and 2 will always be my favorite that locked camera the errieness of hallways and how Every zombie you faced was an actual Threat to you and not just some mindless thing you mow down, And they actually hand good puzzles to solve and not just turn this valve here 

thedoctr : They kind of did that (Severing all ties) earlier in the series which is how Devil May Cry came into existence. I also really liked the 5th one, probably because that was the only one that I ever played.
