Im gonna start a series of video game polls called Megaman and Eight Bit Theater Showdowns. This is the first one. Who will win? Oh yeah,you can just think that Eight Bit Theater is Final Fantasy.

Who will win? I say Red Mage,just because I am a red mage. THIS DOESN'T MEAN IM GONNA VOTE EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR EIGHT BIT THEATER!

It depends on which incarnation of CutMan we're talking about.

If it's the MM1 CutMan, then the Red Mage (I have no idea who he is) would probably win, but if we're talking about CutMan is MegaMan 2: The Power Fighters, then CutMan would almost certainly win.

I vote CutMan... Well, I need to remain the die-hard MegaMan fanatioc that I am.

Depends. If you mean a typical FF1 RM at max level then the mage wins, if you mean RM from 8BT, somehow he would find a way to lose...
Somehow RM can turn certain win into utter fail, I don't know how he does it

Um... Who is the Red Mage, anyway? I take it he's someone out of Final Fantasy?

Well, a red mage is a character class in the first Final Fantasy game, basically a spell user that is a cross between a white mage and a black mage.
Can use basic first few levels of black magic (like Fire 1) and white magic (like Cure 1) but cant use any high level spells (like Ultima for example).

Red Mage the character is a guy in this webcomic called 8-Bit Theatre at http://www.nuklearpower.com/.
He is like a standard RM, except he is obsessed with "skill points" and "maximizing his potential" but doesnt actually do much of anything, arguing that to use one of his many skills would "decrease his versatility".

To quote Wikipedia: "Red Mage is the most knowledgable and versatile, yet also the most delusional, of the Light Warriors. He believes that he is in a stat sheet RPG (such as D&D) and acts accordingly and fully within the rules of such a reality through powergaming."

There is a posibility RM would win, after all despite all odds there are a few times that he has good ideas. Sometimes.
