Try to make an effort to finish the work immediately after school so you don't have to worry about it the rest of the night. Also, reward yourself with something when you get it done, that way you have some motivation. |

There are only a few things that i can say about this to manage your time more wisely: 1. If you don't understand a topic, then the best thing to do is stay after and get help from the teacher, I know you might not like wasting your time after school, but it is good to stay after and get help to better understand rather than just keep going through the year not knowing important topics and materials. Especially for a subject like math, if you don't understand it at one point, it will only get harder and you will only fall behind more. 2. I know where you are coming from boy, homework really sucks, and I am always flooded with it every day for math analysis and ap human geography. The key to managing your time wisely is to: - I think it would be best to put your biggest or hardest assignments first so once you complete them you can transition to something easier instead of the other way around. I know it sounds weird, but try motivating yourself to get this stuff done with a little reward or something. - Take advantage or every opportunity you can, like on the bus rides, or for an appointment or whatever, use that time to get some work done. Using your time wisely is the key to succeeding in school and with loads of homework as I have found out. - If your friends ask you to do something or hang out and you are busy, then politely say no, find a time that works best for you. Don't go hang out with a friend at night to go see a movie for example when you have a test the next morning. Plan wisely and accordingly. - Work at the time of day when you are most active and efficient, if you work best at morning then try to revolve the time you spend working in the morning, if you work better in the evenings or at night, then work at night. Whenever you are most active and ready to get some work done is when you should really get busy! - Set up a time for when to work, put it on a calendar or daily planner/ agenda. Do your work then and put some time into getting it done Note: Don't be distracted by things like texts from your friends or anything like that, just shut your phone off until you are done working and then you can take a minute to text them back. Work ALWAYS comes first, no matter what, you can always hang out with your friends later on, that may not always be the case with studying or homework though, so plan accordingly. - Figure out and calculate how much time you will need to spend on your work and budget that time throughout your weekend. Don't spend 4 hours working on a project on Friday, and then 30 minutes on Saturday, balance and budget your time wisely. Also, it is important to put some time in to relax, because there is such a thing as overworking, so do take a break in between your working sessions. -Probably one of the most important things to remember is to not get sidetracked by other things, work always comes first, save playing games or chatting/ testing friends for later. Also do not procrastinate, if you are given a project that is due at the end of the month, don't wait until the last day to get working on it, start early and finish early so you don't have to leave it pending for the last minute, finish your work early and turn it in on time. - Get good Here are a few other things to take into consideration: - work in a quiet area or environment where you can focus, maybe at the library at school, but do it in a quiet area where you know you can get some work done without distractions, never try to do work in a rowdy place with the tv on and other loud people in the room with you, because you can expect to get no work done in that kind of environment, so always try to work in a quiet place where you can actually make progress with your work. - List the dates of when assignments or projects are due and plan ahead, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE especially if it is for teachers that due not accept late grades Alright man, this is what I could put together from scratch, I know how you feel when it comes to loads of homework, it is the same way with me, so please try to use these to help and guide you as you work. I hope that this helps you and you can get your work done with time to spare! 1.
