HEYA GUYS today i look at this...creature named paras now some of you guys might now i dislike insects (oddly though i like arachnids) its something that runs in my freaking family even my grandfather hates them and is fears them and he was a cop for 20 years.so why am i looking at this thing..? well i was just scrolling through the pokedex for some ideas for reviews and i saw this thing and then i remembered a...rather scarring event from my child hood that involved a insect so i decided to review this thing,not much else to say except lets get this over with.

MOVESET

At the start the only thing we have is scratch...the funny thing is i dont have to tell you to use this move or not because you dont have a choice...

At level 6 we get stun spore and poison powder,both of these moves can be effective but i prefer stun spore still use what you want

At level 11 we get leech life this move has a base attack damage of 20 and has 100% accuracy also this move takes 1/10th of the targets health away,this sucks dont use it tackle is better

Now at level 17 we get one of my favorite moves known as fury cutter this move has a base attack damage of 20 and has 95% accuracy also this moves damage increases the more time you use the move in a row,for you idiots out there who cant do basic edition this moves damage will go from 20-40-60-80 and so on until it gets to its peak at 160,Even though i love this move i will not let nostalgia get in the way this move is good but not great so use it if you want but its not that effective still this move is awesome 

At level 22 we get a somewhat decent move known as spore,this move puts the target to sleep and has 100% accuracy,decent move i actually recommend it

Now at level 24 we get a abomination of science and nature this creature is known as parasect and has scared the crap out of me my mother and father every since my childhood i am serious this thing is freaking creepy and it gets even more creepy after you find out what that mushroom on this guys back does to him...for those who do know please explain it so those people can never look at this pokemon the same way again 

Okay at level 29 we get slash this normal type move has a base attack damage of 70 and has 100% accuracy also this move has a high critical hit ratio,great move take it done

At level 37 we get growth this move increases both the users special stats by 1 stage,this is a good move i say take it if you have a slot to spare 

Now at level 44 we get Giga drain this move has a base attack damage of 75 and has 100% accuracy also this moves takes 1/4 of the targets health,this is a AWESOME move its one of my favorites i really recommend you take it 

At level 51 we get aromatherapy,Now this is a pretty good move,this move heals the user of ALL status effects and i mean ALL of them it even heals your team in double battles,this is a great move please take it...pwetty pwease 

Now at level 59 we get a rather odd yet not completely pointless move known as rage powder this move forces the targets pokemon to attack this pokemon(btw this is only useful in double battles or triple) so...yeah kind of a odd move but i guess its not completely pointless so take it if you want but it kind of blows 

Okay to end this moveset we get X Scissor this bug type move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy this is technically Parasects most powerful move so...take it i guess but i prefer giga drain a bit more than this move(you get this move at level 66 btw)

STATS

Relinquish:wow...

Deathstroke: Jesus...

Death the kid:There so...bad

Frieza: Not even that its just that there so...constantly bad

These are hands down no freaking contest the worst stats i have EVER reviewed i mean...Jesus,okay no point complaining to you guys unless i tell you what they are so lets get started,Its HP is at 60 TERRIBLE,now we have its highest stat its attack which is at....get ready...here it comes...95 THATS RIGHT 95 AND THATS ITS HIGHEST STAT,thats really the extent of this things power freaking pathetic have some dignity you worthless creature...okay maybe i am being a but harsh and honestly this move will help your attack but still..really thats all you got Parasect? you can do so much better,This creatures def and Special Def are both at 80 which is not the best but...screw it its all we got and at least you can take a few hits,Next we have its special attack at 60,and to be fair this is the only stat i will not make fun of or use for a quick gag because this is the only stat that makes sense this creature has NO special attack moves (that it learns on its own) what so ever so props Parasect props,Now...now ladys and gentlemen we have this things lowest stat....its speed,you know what you figure out what i was going to say,in fact...i am going to make that the bonus question of the day 

This thing has SO many weaknesses that at first it really discouraged me from reviewing this pokemon because as for every review i do i spend 3-6 hours testing the pokemon...hey i dont do drugs i dont molest children THIS IS WHAT I DO...anyway this thing has terrible weaknesses that you will come across so often that it will break most people,this pokemons weaknesses are flying poison rock bug...? okay bug fire and ice,and 5 OF THOSE ARE COMMON...ugh screw it you know how i feel about this if you have read at least one of my pokemon reviews so there is no point to continuing this time for Tms and Hms

Now this set does have a purpose and strategy 

Spore
Giga Drain
X Scissor 
Aromatherapy 

Now if you guys have not figured out how this set works let me tell you,STALLING STALLING DRAINING YOUR LIFE DRAINING YOUR LIFE CHEAP TACTIC BLAAAH...and thats why i dont play pokemon online,anyway this set is meant to put the target to sleep then slowly kill them true to how a parasite actually attacks a target in real life,Aromatherapy is there to get rid of any status problems and giga drain is there for you in case you need some health other than that X Scissor will be your main move,Even you guys have to admit this is a good set but as always if you guys have a better set or just some ideas pm me or reply to this thread 

GYMS AND RIVALS

Do i even need to tell you this thing sucks in gyms...i do? fine screw it i might as well add more salt to the wound,this thing blows in gyms because of its speed that is the main thing that wheres this pokemon down its like trying to run from the police with a 1 ton block of metal attached to your leg its physically...well in this case mathematically impossible,the rival is on the same level as the gyms its going to be a fight for your freaking life to win your going to have to put in everything you have in your arsenal to win every little community made tactic every move every thing you can think of to win so...good luck,this is one of the few times i have had to say this in fact i have only said this on my spinirak review so get ready..the trainers are going to be tough now-BUT ONLY until you get to level 24 then we get parasect and things will get much easier but when this thing is a paras and not controlled by a freaking mushroom it is going to be so hard to win against trainers that you will almost never be able to win alone,really...you still have hope in this thing...? well i admire your persistence but...its futile this thing will do nothing but weigh your team down in the elite 4 i mean it this thing is dead weight and when its on your team your whole party is dead meat 

Final thoughts:...come on paras, granted you have some good things about you but they are so very scarce,the moveset is actually okay and i mean that its just that its so short i mean it your going to run out of moves fast but still its pretty good,its stats are...bad and i cant even say the pokemon did the best it could it only sucks because its capped at 405, i cant say that because the stats are not even balanced...at all,still i give it credit because they do compliment its moveset it an extent,the tms are pretty good for a pokemon of this caliber,but the gyms are going to be your biggest problem especially your rival but oddly...i freaking loved it i love being backed up against the wall fighting to my last move i really do maybe i am just an idiot who enjoys mental pain but i really love it because i have to use everything i can to win so if your like me your going to have alot of fun using this pokemon but if your not like me your going to release this thing after using it for an hour,all in all this pokemon sucks...but still it is trying you can tell its doing everything it can to please you and it really wants a spot on its team its kind of hard to explain just go to my grimer review and i can give a better explanation but i just love pokemon like that still....it sucks sorry i cannot recommend this thing at all there are so many better bugs types out there that this thing looks like a joke compared to them so honestly i give this pokemon an A for effort and i will give it my Agent of Awesomeness badge for doing the best it possibly can your Persistence is admirable Paras...Futile but admirable

Nice job with this review man, I am not a big fan of this pokemon to be honest, but despite that, this review still deserves praise. I think you did a fantastic job making this review and I always think you are very thorough and detailed with your facts, information and research for each of your pokemon when making these threads, so nice job man. 


I like the moves giga drain and X scissor that this pokemon has, they are both pretty good moves and they are very powerful. I think that aromatherapy will especially come in handy with those team battles. So good job with this excellent review, I think they are always detailed and accurate.

I honestly have no idea what joke you would say concerning this pokemon's speed XD.
