Didn't really know who to tell this to, so I'm just making a general thread, hoping the right people carry it to the right people. Anyway, THIS AD LINK (http://72.51.36.210/adsolution30x3/metrics.php?tnzppl) has been flagged on three occasions by my Avast Antivirus.

Please fix this! Save the rest of Vizzed!

Local Moderators : You'll see this faster. Please help!

tgags123 : Well wtf. It flags the link and took me to a page showing that exact link. I'll grab the full link next time I encounter the ad, it was just difficult to get it earlier.

Yeah try un installing and then re installing it and see if the same message shows up. I hope that this helps. Is there anyway you can temporarily turn your virus protector off or disable it? I can disable my eset for as long as I want for example.

Singelli : Don't hide in a corner, you are an awesome person, mod or not, you have a big heart and you are one of the nicest and most generous people on vizzed! Always remember that!

Mostly if you have a problem like this, I pretty much uninstall the program, and then reinstall the program, and if that doesn't work, I'm not sure on what else to do.

If nothing works, you could go with someone else.

This is also a problem that I had with AVG. It has nothing to do with your browser, and I can assure you that it isn't a virus. What happens with that particular ad type, is that the content contains Java or Flash-based components, one node in particular that which is closely associated with similar components of a known black hole exploit. If this is the problem you are having, then it's likely you get the anti-virus warning when browsing randomly around the site, and not just from that one ad, but from some of the ads in general. Is that the case? If so, re-installing the program won't work. The likely culprit is a setting somewhere being set to a higher priority than normal. You need to set the browsing security for the program at default level or below. Alternatively, you could try to find the particular component being registered as a false-positive, and white-list it. That would prevent future warnings for that particular instance. The last thing I would suggest, is to report the false-positive to Avast, so that they can fix it in a future update. You could always disable it while you surf this site, but I wouldn't recommend doing any questionable surfing without some sort of protection. Personally, I always had troubles out of Avast, and it has a security feature set upon installation that even protects it from letting the administrator shut the program down internally. The program itself seems to be more of a hassle to get rid of than the viruses themselves. If you aren't too overly fond of it, I would suggest uninstalling it and trying an alternative, like IObit Malware Fighter or Spybot - Search & Destroy. I'll provide you with a few links so that you can check those out.
