Hello my fellow Pokemon fans! I am MechaMento I will be hosting a Pokemon Showdown League. Each week users from vizzed shall compete with their pokemon skill and talent, to make their way up the league table. There will be a prize in Viz so there will be a reason to go all out!

Important Information

- There will be seasons and each season will last for 25 battles for every player.
- A win is 3 points, A draw is 1 point and a loss is nothing.
- For different fixtures there will be different game modes. For instance you will have an Ubers match one week and a ?OU the week after.
- We will always meet in the Tournament Chat at your fixture time.
- Matches will be on weekends only.
- I will be competing!
- I suggest adding this thread to you favourites, that way you will get notifications if someone else has posted. For instance I will be posting the league table in this thread.

Rules

- No Troll Pokemon. Like a Level 1 Aron.
- No Glitch Pokemon. Like a Level 1000 Pokemon.
- You can not fight until I am spectating.
- No bragging about victories!

New to Pokemon Showdown?

Pokemon Showdown is a free battle simulator. You can build your team using the team builder. Also battle people across the world to test your battling skill. It is very easy to sign up, You just choose a username and click on the settings gear in the top right of showdown. After that click register and you will be told to create a password. After that you are complete and ready to fight.

MechaMento : Yeah! I would like to enter of course! Gotta like pokemon showdown 

MechaMento : *smirks* I have alot of good teams in Pokemon Showdown. My troll team, My sandstorm team, There's no end. I'll enter. Do we have to pay Viz each week to enter? or is 1 pay means you stay in there until you drop out/quit. Nevertheless, I'll send you the Viz.

Xhero, 1 payment is the whole season. If I get enough replies then there may be another season after this one. A season will last 25 battles.

MechaMento : Whoops sorry, forgot to put my showdown name and what else, On showdown I go by " Luny ", you will only ever find me in the Pokemon X and Y chat room anyway.

I have never heard of Pokemon Showdown before, but I will check it out right now. I will enter if I like it and I think I will have time.

zanderlex : The tournament will not start until we get enough responses.  So feel free to check out pokemon showdown. When you feel ready, sign up by copying and pasting the application in my thread opener. What do you mean by "Running my Own game", are you already making a pokemon showdown tournament or something?

MechaMento : You have to download it? I checked the site and there was a button that said play online but it took me to the download link. I will do it anyway though.

Click on the play tab in the top right. It will take you to the "real" game. I think you may of clicked on one of the fake adverts, I suggest you stop the download or install it. 
Pokemon Showdown is flash based, no downloads needed!

I think it may be because of the computer I am using. I can never do anything right on a school computer.

zanderlex : I think you are right. Anyway all of the matches are at the weekend so you will not have to worry about the schools crappy computers. I suggest you try Pokemon Showdown again but when you get home, then you should be able to play it without any downloads. If you are still getting the download page, keep the download going. The link looks trustworthy and it is provided by Pokemon Showdown, just to make sure you should scan the program with virus protection software a like to Avast Anti - Virus.

MechaMento : There is not enough people yet, there is only like 5 of us or something but I should we close this instead of waiting any longer?

This thread was a failure so the Tournament is cancelled. Not enough people join so I am going to ask for someone to close it. Everyone who entered will get their Viz back so do not worry about that.
