So, just in case you guys don't know what I'm talking about, lets say you create a thread, then months later, once the TDV comes, you get a reply. And then you look at your notifications and say, "I don't remember making this thread, oh wait, I made it months ago!". So, how do you feel at that moment? Did this ever happen to you before? 

Well, for me, yes, it has happened to me several times before, but usually in the TDV. I don't think that happens in any other months other than the TDV. How about you guys?

That has happened to me before quite a few times and I think all of them were during the Tour de Vizzed. When that happens I get excited that my old thread is revived and I also get worried because thread bumps can result in threads being closed by forum moderators.

I just gotta love how people are ignoring the original question.  

Personally, I feel very, very annoyed.  A thread that hasn't been responded to in months just needs to die.  When people bump a 3 month old thread... whether it's mine or not... I wish I had he power to just close it.  There are plenty of interesting and active threads to post in already.  There's no need to dig up the dead.

I actually saw someone do this today, and although the person didn't have many posts, I had to resist the urge to respond.  I wanted to summon the local mods and ask them to close the thread. XD  I behaved though. I'm sure the local mods absolutely dread all the work created by over-zealous competitors during the TdV. Luckily, none of my threads have been revived this month so far.

I get very upset when it comes back. Firstly because its old, secondly people would do anything to get more points in the TDV and more. Its suppose to stay dead. For the most part I don't i'd be all hat happy. I mean for me, I guess it would depend on which one and how old it actually is. I think a lot of my original threads are just terrible so seeing one of them revived would make me too excited.

I really don't like when that happens. Normally I look at the thread and all I can say is "What was I thinking? This is a stupid thread!" I really hate when my early reviews come back to life. Only the really bad ones seems to come back!
