What do you think of the Metroid games in reference to how hard they are?
Do you think they are way to hard. hard. fine, easy, or really easy?

Well I guess this would be a question of which one you started with and sometimes at what age did you play said game. I think from the ground up with the franchise with the very first Metroid game, it was pretty rough. Didn't take much for monsters to ambush you and put you down in the first game. It has gotten a bit easier as time has gone by but it is still challenging. It is nice they put difficulties in so nothing is too hard for anyone that wants to casually play the games which is a smart move.

I guess my personal opinion is that they are "fine" when it comes to difficulty. Each game starts you out with the basics and you climb your way to the top while gaining new power-up abilities and learn how to defeat certain enemies or overcome certain obstacles. At some point in any Metroid game, death is bound to happen one way or another I feel. Or there is at last going to be that one part that gives you the hardest time, i've had my fair share of that for sure.

I think that they've always had a really good difficulty level because they can be quite hard, but not overly difficult. My personal favorite Metroid game is Prime 2 because it is probably the hardest out of all of the Metroid titles, but it was never too much and forced you to put your all into your gaming.
