Or do you consider yourself an independent? Or do you adhere to other parties like the Pirate Party, Socialist Party, Communist Party, the Reform Party, Valiant Defender's Party, Modern Whig Party, etc. Etc.?

The poll reflects more of the United States of America partisan make up than other countries. All of them except the Libertarian and Constitution Party have equivalents in other countries (that I know of).

For myself, I adhere most to the Constitution Party conservative principles. I think the Republican Party has too much compromise for me to actually believe in it.

Republican. Definitely republican. For so many reason. Health care, gun laws, abortion, welfare, NSA spying on us, our involvement in other countries, etc. I really hate Obama, I think he is the dumbest president we have ever had. And yes, I am aware that he is probably reading this right now because he loves spying on people.

diabeticzach : I don't think it is a strict political party, just a political view point. That is why I put Other Party / Independent on the choices. Besides, all the ones in the options are actually the largest political parties in the United States of America.

Not many Americans care about what's happening outside of their own bubble, and they're usually the ones who get worked up over foreign issues.

But as a voting American, I'm Democratic. I want my own rights and control over my own body, along with the chance to gain a higher education for my future. I really don't agree with what foreign steps the Democratic party have taken for awhile, but that hasn't swayed my opinion much.

Well I'm a democrat, simply because I feel as though the democrat party if for the common people, helping me keep my hard earned money in my own pocket. The issue I have with Republicans is I feel there platforms are aimed to better  the rich (which is a small percent of the population) , and I feel as though Republicans focus more on how they can line there own pockets and  basically create laws that help the rich (especially with tax cuts) .

I'm an independent, I'm not comfortable saying that either party as a whole represents all of my values and ideas. On social issues I usually side with liberals (commonly referred to as democrats), and in maters of economics I tend to side with conservatives.
