I have seen this before. It makes me laugh every time. It is only flawed in the way that government does not act as a middleman, but yet the basic premise of welfare and capitalism and what not is still there. I wonder if it is a true story....

I am not a Republican by the way, I am a Constitution Party and a Valiant Defender's Party member.

The sad thing is, some people think this picture is an actual depiction of reality. I as a democrat with some of my friends work for a living and support themselves, they don't take money from the government(one of my democrat friends works 3 jobs). I find this picture more sad than anything, that people are so attached to towing their party line, and insulting the other person on the other side of the fence that they completely block out reality, with no attempt to actually try to fix the country's problem.

It's sad more than funny.

Because if that is what you ar we implying, you are wrong. I am not saying that you are one of those people, but there are tons of them in the country.

tgags123 : Sure there are plenty of lazy people, and some of them are democrat and some are republican(people also tend to put people who have lost their job into the "lazy" group as well) It simplifies the problems of literally hundreds of millions of people into a silly "joke", it's a generalization that is beyond reproach, and I feel sorry for people who are amused by it.

This joke blatantly insults democrats by putting ALL of them into the "lazy" category, some of which I know are holding down 3 jobs, and the majority of whom aren't subsidized by the government. In fact, red states are actually holding the crown for receiving welfare at the moment, so it's not even statistically true.

When you blatantly insult someone, of course it's funny to you, but it's not funny to those being insulted by a factually incorrect assumption about their character.

Btw, to people who simply "dislike" posts, it's not exactly an endearing quality. If you don't like what someone has said, or is opposed to what they said, take the time to respond to them. "Disliking" posts only damages someone's post rating, it doesn't tell the person why they're wrong.

The homeless man turned out to be a furloughed federal republican worker that legally can not get another job.
