I want to be handled gently.
Like the way the breeze caresses a fresh budding leaf first setting sight on its surroundings.
Or the way a hillside cradles a timid fern.

I want to be taken care of.
Like the way a brook feeds the shore and tickles the dirt.
Or the way a bumblebee so meticulously tends the flowers.

I want to be thought of.
Like the way an oak tree curls its leaves and branches around every acorn.
Or the way the sun breathes life into the wings of a butterfly.

Sheltered.
Safe.
Loved.
Appreciated.
Cherished.
Desired.

(I know it's short.  Sometimes it's hard to say more in fear of saying too much.)
