The title says it all. I'm looking for games to play, I'm getting tired of playing the usual tekken and punch out retro games I usually play.



So Suggest me a game, and I'll check it out.


But whatever you do. Please do not Suggest a Pokemon game or a hack of a Pokemon game. I'm not really interested in those games. Thanks.

Oh this is going to be good, I love getting to share my tastes with people when it comes to games. So I do have one question, Does it have to be in the RGR? Could it be a newer game maybe for the Xbox 360 or maybe the Play Station 3? Anyway let me get onto some that are in the RGR until I get an answer from you.

I would try Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Fire Emblem: The Last Promise (Hack and a good one at that.), Mega man X, Final Fantasy six, Final Fantasy four, Chrono Cross if you have the Play Station item and last but definitely not least Chrono Trigger. Puyo puyo for snes is the main one but want a more of a sonic theme Dr robotnik mean bean machine for genesis.

Space harrier for 32x, gameboy advance, (under Sega arcade gallery ) or arcade is a good choice too....

Last one I recommend is outrun for genesis or gameboy advance (under Sega arcade gallery cartridge ) just a little game when bored.

Do you like fighting games? Well, if you like them, I recommend you to play River City Ransom EX! It's for GBA and it's available on Vizzed! But Super Double Dragon for SNES or Battlemaniacs for SNES (too) is a good example as well!

Well it really all depends on what type of game you like. If your into rpgs then theres chrono trigger, final fantasy, illusion of gaia and zelda which are my top picks. theres a lot of games on this site so you really should not be able to find a game that you could get into.

You should try some Kirby games if you haven't already. Kirby and the amazing Mirror is a good one. You should also check out Contra and maybe some Donkey Kong games.

I think Quhark has a lot of awesome choices of games that you should play. Those are all pretty awesome too. He had a pretty long extensive list which is awesome!

There are only 2 games I would suggest for you. They are both games for the SNES so they should run absolutely fine.
The first is Super Mario World. This is the only retro Mario game I have enjoyed and possibly and most probably all them in the complete series. The levels are colorful and flow smoothly for maximum entertainment. I really enjoyed playing though it, it varies in difficulty so it pretty much suits most people.
The second is, The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past. This was an stand out prequal to the Zelda series and I of many have enjoyed playing it, though I am yet to finnish it. It may work a little like an RPG but is certainly more entertaining than pokemon. It is not the hardest in the series though. It is a bit easier than the Nintendo 64 games but harder than the very easy DS games.

I hope you enjoy both games

I would say try the Strike Series. It is very fun and retro. Try it for both the Super Nintendo and Saga Genesis. Its goes, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, and Urban Strike.
